I really wanted to write this story despite my writing blocks. I poured out my heart and soul into writing this. I hope you guys enjoy the mini fanfic I wrote!
Alister is a character from the Waking the Dragons/Orichalcos season in Yu-Gi-Oh. Ethan Blairfeld and Sam Guerrero belong to me!
Alister opens his eyes and wondered where he is. The entire space was vacant and hazy. There was nothing but pitch black darkness in his unconscious mind. In the haze, he suddenly heard a voice calling out to him. Alister turns and spots the one who called him. Upon a close glance, the haze subsided and revealed a teenage Alister in his Doma attire. He had a malicious smile on his face. The teen Alister activates his shard of the orichalcos stone lodged around his neck. A blinding ray of green light flashed harshly as Alister was blinded by the light from the stone.
Alister opens his eyes, but what he saw was no longer his younger self. Alister opens his mouth in dismay after seeing his younger self in the form of his son Ethan, all clad in the same attire Alister once wore when he was in Doma. Ethan activates his chaos duel disk and challenged Alister to a duel. Alister was dismayed, but he had to save his son regardless of the situation given to him. Alister activates his duel disk. The two proceed to draw five cards from their deck. "Duel!"
Alister makes his first move and then ends his turn by setting one card face down. Ethan draws a card from his deck. The card he drew made him smile wickedly.
"Heheheh." Ethan laughed as he looked at the card while still smiling maliciously. "This card should bring back your old memories!"
Alister anticipates the drawn card in Ethan's hand and prepares himself for the worst that's coming. "Ethan, no!"
Ethan ignored his father and proceeds to use the card. "I activate The Seal of Orichalcos!"
Alister is pushed back by The Seal of Orichalcos as it appears around Ethan and expands across the field. The orichalcos appears on Ethan's forehead. Ethan proceeds to use his OTK strategy against his father.
"Hahahahaha... Farewell father!" Ethan exclaimed as his monster delivers a final attack on Alister. But before Alister lost his soul, he woke in the real world from his nightmare and sat up on his bed. He glanced at Sam, who was still sleeping soundly.
"That was all just a bad dream." Alister thought and sighed in relief before quickly falling asleep again.
