Random one-shot. :D

Mmk, anyway...

I DON'T OWN SWAC GET THAT IN YOUR THICK (OR THIN) HEADS!

-Cough-...i'm calm now.

Random fact: The guy I like in school is always looking at me and stuff. Awesome, right? :D I sit next to him in German class too. Even better!

ON TO THE STORY, SUCKAHS!

I stared at the various nail polish bottles on my vanity. Lately i've been into painting nails.

I had already painted Zora's nails bright green, and Tawni's nails pink. According to Zora, the green would match her snake.

Weird.

And then...well Grady's nails are orange.

Nico and Grady are warning people to stay away from me.

I had no nails left to paint..unless...

"Knock knock!"

As if on cue, Chad Dylan Cooper strolled into my dressing room.

Hah. Perfect.

"Hey Chad." I said innocently.

He gave me a 'What are you up to now?' look. "Okay, out with it."

"What are you talking about?" I asked.

"You want something."

I looked back at the nail polish and grabbed a blue bottle.

"Hey Chad," I repeated, "Let me paint your nails."

"What? NO!" he yelled, running for the door. I tuck-and-rolled past him and shut the door quickly, standing up in front of it.

Chad groaned. "You're not gonna let me leave until I let you paint my nails, are you?"

I smiled and shook my head.

"Fine. Just hurry up."

"And...done." I said, closing the nail polish bottle. Chad observed his now blue nails.

"Don't understand why girls do this. It looks weird." he said.

"Of course it looks weird. On you. You're a guy?"

"Well...I don't know about that. Grady's nails looked pretty good." Chad laughed. I laughed too.

"And you know, the color really brings out your eyes. It goes good with you."

"You know what else would match me?" Chad asked. I raised my eyebrow. What, Chad knows fashion suddenly?

"What?" I asked cautiously.

Chad leaned forward. "You." he whispered. I blushed.

"W-what are you talking about?" I asked.

"I like you." he said as if it were the simplest thing in the world, leaning back and shrugging.

"You mean as a friend?"

"No. I like you. As in like-like?"

"Oh...you do?" The shock must have shown on my face, because Chad looked down sadly.

"Ah..I thought you liked me back...but you know, if you don't..." he swallowed. "That's fine."

He looked like he was close to tears. He cares about me that much?

"Chad.." I said. "Since when were you like this? Crying because a girl doesn't like you? That's so...un-like you."

"So you don't like me."

"N-no!" I said, then my eyes widened at the tear about to fall from his eye. "I meant, no, I do like you, not no, I don't." I said.

Chad blinked and stared at me blankly. "Kinda confused here."

I laughed, and grabbed his hand. "I do like you."

Chad and I both beamed, staring at eachother.

"Good." he said.

"Good."

"Good."

"Will you go out with me?"

"Of course." I smiled wider.

"Good."

"Great."

"You know," Chad said, "I think you should give me stuff that matches my eyes more often."

"Oh? And why's that?"

"Well from the result of you painting my nails and the color matching my eyes, we're going out."

I smiled. "I guess you're right."

"Hey, one more thing before we go out, though." Chad said.

"Yeah?"

"Get this junk off my nails!"

Eh, it's super short. I think it's one of (if not the) shortest one-shots i've ever written.

But it was good, right? :D

Maybe.

No.

Probably gonna get like 10 reviews max. on it xD.

Gasp! I lost my ego for a second there.

Kay, it's back.

LATER!
