A/N: Hey........ I just wanted to write a one-shot about Bree and Karl and what could happen if they did get together.
Don't get me wrong, bree is my fav housewive, and karl is my fav guy. I'm just trying to be honest.
Bree's fresh Start
Bree Hodge and Karl Mayer were sitting in her living room, drinking a cold, bottle of wine that she saved for this particular day.
Bree just gotten her divorce to Orson that day, and they were celebrating.
"Bree, thank you for inviting me over, this is nice."
"You're welcome, besides, how more can I ever repay you for being such a great lawyer?" she asked, giving him the flirtiest smile she could put on.
He settled his glass down.
"How can I ever repay you for being such a great client, freckles?"
Bree used to hate the nickname he calls her, 'freckles' but it is now a name that gives Karl her shy face. She blushed, and Karl stroked her hot cheek ever so softly, sending a cold chill down her spine.
Karl looked at her perfect red lips, and he knew he couldn't touch them for any longer.
He leaned forward, planting a kiss on her lips.
Bree couldn't resist, and deepened the kiss, feeling the spark she felt only the first time when Rex kissed her... and they soon found themselves upstairs....
Later that night, after Karl left, she knew that someday she was going to be Mrs. Karl Mayer.
Five years later...
"EVAN MAYER, GET BACK HERE AND CLEAN THIS UP!" Bree yelled to her 11 year old stepson, Evan.
"No, Lady! You're not the boss of me! F- off!"
"Evan, please respect me, I'm you're mother. Now, clean up this mess you made."
Evan clenched his fists. "Sometimes I wish you were dead, mom."
"Evan, just clean up and go upstairs... I don't want to see you for the rest of the day." Evan took a coffee mug off the counter and threw it at Bree's feet.
It smashed, and Bree jumped. Tears poured down her cheeks.
"Please clean this up as well."
Then she stormed out and went upstairs to her and Karl's bedroom.
She still lives in the house she always lived in, on Wisteria Lane.
She's still a famous homemaker, and just released her 4th cookbook.
Everyone thought that she was so happy, but behind closed doors, she was about to lose it, because of Evan.
She sometimes wanted to getaway, but it was impossible.
She was about to lie down, but then her four year old daughter, Alexis Elizabeth Mayer, came into the room and started tugging at Bree's skirt.
"Not now, Lexi."
"YES NOW, MOMMY!"
"Ok, Alexis, what do you want?"
"You promised to make me cookies!"
"I made you cookies, Alexis, but your big brother knocked the dough bowl over and spilled it all."
Alexis climbed on the bed and hugged Bree.
"I'm sorry, Mommy."
"Why, Lexi?"
"Because I asked you to make cookies."
Bree stroked her daughter's medium length red hair, feeling lucky that Alexis was hers.
Alexis looked up to her big sister, Julie, so Bree knew that Alexis was going to be perfect, or nearly perfect, someday.
Unlike her.
Bree was about to doze off but then the doorbell wrung.
Bree let go of Alexis and hurried downstairs, and to the front door.
She opened it, and it was Lynette and Gabrielle, who came for their weekly poker game.
Only Lynette and Gabrielle attended, since Susan hates Bree now.
She was hurt when Bree announced that her and Karl were getting married, and that a baby was on the way.
She felt that Bree betrayed her.
So, she told Bree off, and it ended their friendship.
So Bree and her remaining best friends sat down at her poker table and played, not having as much fun as they used to.
When they left, Karl came home. She wanted to spend time with him, but he was too busy with work to do so.
That night in bed, she silently wondered if marrying Karl was worth it. She loves Karl, and she was happy with Alexis, but she just, doesn't know anymore.
Do you think it be worth it? Please review! :)
