Authors Note: There is no diologe mainly because i am still in school and for English my teacher really wants me to focuse on description and not diologe. It is based on Kate's death and her funeral, the team are blaming themselves for not protecting her. I might re-write it but add diologe later but i am typing this the day i go away on holiday so it has to be quick to type.
The day of her funeral
Everyone who worked in the squadroom knew that the past few weeks had been hard for everyone, epecially for Gibbs' team. I was officially 3 weeks sincce the death of special agent Caitlin Todd, her funeral had been the week before and Gibbs' team were still blaming themselves for what had happened tp their coworker, friend. Deep down they knew that it was not their fault but something made them believe that it was.
Gibbs believed that he was responsible for her death because it was only the day before he had spoken to Ari and told him that if he every went near Kate he would kill him. He kept thinking to himself 'if only he had looked before helping her up off the concrete floor then none of this would of happened.'
Tony said it was his fault for pretty much the same reason as gibbs, he regretted not protecting her eventhough she would of argued that she did not need him to protect her. He knew that Kate had been worrying more then normal ahen they found out that Ari had gotten back into the country and wanting to kill gibbs.
McGee blameshimself for not shooting back at whoever had shot at him and hit the car. He would only go down to autopsy if he really needed to and would not see Kate and say goodbye to his coworker. He had found it really hard to cope with her death as she was one of the only people that really believed in him from day one.
FLASHBACK
Her funeral was only hours away and tje team had just landed in Indiana,they had gone and got half a dozen red roses to place on top of her casket. Before the funeral they had gone to where the funeral was being held and met her perants, her sister and her 3 'phycotic' brothers and said how sorry they where for the loss of their daughter and sister.
The funeral had started and at the front was her casket with the American flag drapped over it. Everyone got up and placed a red rose for Kate. As the team got up and placed the roses they all thought of a memorable time ofthem and Kate.
The men who were close to Kate carried her casket ready for her to be burried,Once again they shook hands with Kate's family and said how sorry they were. They went back over to her grave and read the greave stone 'Caitlin Todd, loving daughter, sister and dedicated coworker, Rest In Peace.'
Authors Note: I said that it was going to be quick but it wasn't really quick. I wrote it out the other night and then typed it out Pease review and tell me what you think and wether you think that i shoud re-write it but adding diologe.
