2 was 5's best fiend; he had a way about him that assured 5 that he was trustworthy, accepting, and kind. So when he came to the point when he could no longer bear to keep quiet, he told his secrets to 2. No matter the trouble, ugly feeling, or concern, 2 received him warmly and with dignified advice. 5 had never known such comfort as when he listened to 2's words, and because of that, he developed a new secret.
But then the big, mechanical brain took 2, and it became a secret 5 could never tell.
