That Girl

You run into Emmet and Ingo right before you enter the Battle Subway. Your eyes grow wide, amazed that these Subway Masters are actually talking to you. The three of you start to chat, and they offer a battle with you. You decline at first, saying you'd need a partner to actually beat them. They agree, and continue to chat with you.

During your conversation, a girl who is about your age comes up behind you and taps your shoulder. She asks what's going on, and you tell her that Emmet and Ingo offered a battle, but you don't have a partner yet. You ask her if she'll be your partner, and she happily accepts; although, she runs off to the Pokémon Center quickly to heal her Pokémon.

As she runs back, you can't help but see her chocolate-brown hair tied up in buns, which, to you, is utterly beautiful. Erasing your thought quickly, you shake your head and try to wipe off the apparent blush. You introduce yourself and ask for her name—and she answers with "Rosa." You introduce yourself as well. She goes by your side, and sends out a Dewott; you, a Pignite.

After a grueling battle, you and the girl end up victorious. Feeling good about yourself, you smile proudly. The girl gives you a hug and a high-five, blushing when she initiated the hug. The Subway Masters say their gratitude, and walk back into the building.

You thank her for being your battle partner. She smiles and replies with a "No problem!" and you can't help but blush when she smiles. You tell her she was amazing in battle, and then you scurry off into the building, hoping she doesn't notice that your face has turned a brilliant shade of red.

As you enter the building, you realize your heart rate is very fast, you feel shaky, you feel nervous, you feel like the happiest boy in Unova. You slap yourself for not registering her in your Xtransceiver. All you can think about is Rosa's chocolate-brown hair, her perfect hazel eyes, the way she laughs and smiles—

And then it hits you.

You've fallen in love with Rosa.
