Oh please Jack,
do come back
soon from the chores you have to
do, there's something you promised you'd do.
Jack, you're back early today!
So can we go out and play?
The weather is nice fair,
And we won't go far, just over there.
Remember you said you'd teach me to skate?
Why not today, before it gets too late?
C'mon, it'll be lots of fun,
And we can play hopscotch when we're done.
I promise, we'll be fine
and back inside by dinnertime.
Then you can finish your story
about the talking moose seeking glory.
We both wanna play some more
