The moon seemed to smile down at the soft green grass in the field, and gently illuminated the tall wheat-like stalks. The chorus of crickets echoed and fell in tune with the birds singing, and a cool breeze ruffled the autumn leaves as they gently fell to the ground, some tumbling all the way to the two people seated in the middle of the grass.
They were both sixteen, with a lot to look forward to. The boy had vibrant red hair, matching crimson eyes, and yellow goggles with orange swirls. He wore a long black trench coat that seemed to have a tail, black boots, and fingerless black gloves.
The girl had chocolate brown hair, eyes that seemed blue and green at the same time, and loads of freckles. Her t-shirt was a deep purple, and she wore very dark blue skinny jeans with white stitching. Her black shoes rose to mid-shin, and laced all the way to the top.
Together they were eating ripe strawberries from a wicker basket.
"Jack look! A shooting star!" The girl whispered as she raised her left hand to point.
A smile spread across his face. "Very bright." He told her as he reached for the basket, only to find it empty. "Did you take the last one, Ches?"
Ches wasn't her real name, but Jack used it as a shortened version of Cheshire Cat, because she was almost always smiling.
She held the last strawberry in her hand, about to eat it. He looked at her longingly as she shoved the whole fruit in her mouth. Jack placed a hand on her head, and pressed his lips to hers. His tongue forced her mouth open and he fished out the strawberry, successfully stealing it from her. He sat back down and chewed the strawberry slowly.
"Jack that was mine you goofball." Ches smiled.
"Well you can't have it back now." Jack smirked at her, and laid on the grass.
Ches crawled over to him. "I can still taste it though." She whispered as she kissed him softly.
I had this in my head for a while, and was originally going to be Ash and Gary but I changed my mind and it's JackxOC now.
No offense to anyone, but FF is lacking in a lot of JackXOC stories. I like reading those cause I don't support Jack with any people from the show.
