Lucy woke up and stretched her arms. She looked over at the time it was 10:00am. It was Lucy's birthday. She had recalled one of her birthday's as a child as she brushed her teeth.
*Flash back*
"Look daddy I made you a rice ball!" A small blonde child said. Her father still looking at his paper's yelled "GO AWAY LUCY!
I AM VERY BUSY!" Lucy said "Here I will just leave it here in case you get hungry." Lucy's father got angry. He knocked the rice ball off the desk. "IF I AM HUNGRY I WILL INFORM THE CHEF! I DO NOT NEED YOUR RICE BALL! NOW GET BACK TO YOUR STUDIES!" Lucy ran out of the room thinking 'But papa it's my birthday!'
*End of flash back*
'It will be different this year because he won't be here.' Lucy thought. She smiled and grabbed her key's as she ran out of her apartment to her new family. Fairy tail. -
*At the fairy tail guild hall*
The doors busted open.
Everyone was shocked and thought it was Lucy but, it was Wendy. "Everyone get ready Lucy's coming!" Wendy yelled. Mira finished Lucy's cake and turned off the lights. -
*With Lucy*
Lucy was almost to Fairy tail in 3...2...1. The doors shot open. 'What the!? Why is the guild dark?' The next thing I knew the lights turned on and everyone in Fairy tail yelled "Surprise!" I smiled 'Mother in heaven... for my 19th birthday I got a surprise from the entire guild. I truly feel like this is where I belong.' I thought. I smiled and when't and joined the party with team Natsu and the rest of my Fairy tail friends.
