The birds twittered in the background. Luna was moving, arms waving, feet falling into a graceful pattern. It was almost like she was moving through water.

Her dirty bare feet were caked in mud, and her blonde hair was loose, swinging around her.

Luna was wearing a bright yellow dress. Her eyes were closed, and a small smile graced her face.

"Aren't you afraid of stepping on a twig?" Neville Longbottom asked from behind her.

Luna's feet stilled for a mere moment, her arms dropping to her sides. She turned, smiling dreamily at him.

"No."

"Why not?' Neville asked curiously, glancing at her bare feet.

Luna shrugged, and walked over to him.

That was when Neville noticed that she always looked like she was dancing.

"Only a fool would dance in the middle of a forest with no shoes." He pointed out.

"We're fools whether we dance or not, so we might as well dance." Luna laughed, twirling, looking up at the sky.

She seemed so carefree.

And with that, she was moving again, feet dancing around every pebble, every stick. Her toes left imprints in the mud.

Suddenly, Neville reached down and took off his shoes.

Now, not many people knew this about Luna, but she was always moving, somehow, some way. But in that moment, she was completely still.

Neville wiggled his toes, letting out a laugh.

"I can't believe I'm doing this." He muttered to himself.

A bright smile took over Luna's face.

She grabbed his hands, and pulled him towards her as she twirled.

Neville stepped on a sharp pebble and winced.

Luna just smiled and danced gracefully, never stepping on a pebble or stick once.

Later, Luna asked him why he decided to join her.

All he said was, "We're fools whether we dance or not, so we might as well dance."
