Cloudgazing
A Pokeshipping One-shot
Two figures lay in a soft green meadow. A boy with messy black hair tucked under a cap with twinkling brown eyes was flopped randomly in the ground. The girl next to him had red hair and laughing green eyes. She was lying composed on the grass.
She prodded the boy next to her and he rolled over so he faced the sky. The day was anew and fluffy white clouds drifted across the blue sky. He nudged her and pointed to the sky. Their eyes flitted from cloud to cloud trying to see shapes.
The two were very different. When he spotted one he would hoot and holler. She would gaze quietly then poke, nudge and point.
The clouds were seemingly dancing across the sky as the wind blew. They saw one shaped like a bell. This brought along the realization that school was coming and summer was ending.
While he sulked another cloud floated by. She spotted it and poked him gently, rousing him from his thoughts. This cloud looked like an umbrella. It brought back childhood memories of a movie about the nanny with the flying umbrella.
Excited, he kept looking and looking for another shape. He was so excited that his eyes skipped over all the recognizable shapes.
She laughed at him calmly proceeded to point out all the shapes he missed. He looked over at her and smiled. The world was full of simple pleasures. The two figures lay side by side smiling and dreaming of the world and things to come.
Me: *sighs happily* This is one of the best pieces I've ever done!
Misty: But it's sooo short!
Me: I know. It's short and sweet.
Misty: Sweet?
Me: Yeah Dawn and May read it and started crying.
Dawn and May: *in the corner bawling eyes out*
Misty: You didn't even tell us who the girl and guy were!
Me: Think about it. It's Pokeshipping. A guy with black hair and a cap and a girl with red hair.
Ash: I still don't know!
Misty: Idiot! *whacks him with mallet*
Me: If you like this thank my Gr. 7 teacher! I wrote this minus Pokemon elements and received full marks :)
Ash: I've never heard of cloudgazing. Is it like stargazing?
Me: Speaking of stargazing I might write a sequel to this if you people like it. So please...
Dawn and May: Review! *both continue to cry*
