"After I killed my brother, I found out it wasn't his fault for the massacre"
Sasuke, Sakura and Naruto were sitting in the old Team 7 training grounds. Sasuke had returned two days ago and had called Naruto and Sakura to meet with him.
Sakura sat timidly and kept her eyes on her hands that were resting in her lap. Naruto thought quietly for a minute before speaking up.
"But then who...''
"The Elders of this village called for the massacre of the Uchiha clan and so to get my revenge I must...:"
"NO..." Sakura cried out interrupting him, standing as she spoke. "Sasuke-kun you can't"
"Oh" Sasuke said mockingly, standing with Naruto.
"Sakura-Chan's right, teme" Naruto said staring at the forest floor. Sasuke stood quiet fop a minute. In this time Sakura ran from the training grounds, into a forest to take her to a short cut to the Hokage tower. Sasuke waited until she was gone and then unsheathed his katana.
"Naruto, for me to get my revenge I need the mangekyou sharingan, I'm sorry"
But before Naruto had time to react the blade had already pierced his already broken heart. Sasuke closed his eyes for a brief second before running in the direction Sakura had ran. He appeared in front of her, his katana already in its sheath. Sakura gasped in surprise and Sasuke stepped towards her, then hesitated and turned and starting walking towards the tower.
"Sasuke please you can't" Sakura pleaded.
"And why not?" Sasuke asked in crisp monotone.
"Because…because, they wont forgive you this time. Last time you betrayed the village they only just let you come back with your life, but if you do this then…" Sasuke continued walking to his destination before he heard Sakura cry out again.
"Sasuke please if you do this then I can never be, I mean you can never be, I mean we can never be..."
"Never be what Sa-ku-ra" Sasuke said as he huffed out her name in syllables.
"Together" she said in a soft quiet voice. Sasuke turned so he was facing her.
"Sakura" Sasuke said in an edged monotone as he slowly walked up to her, but then in a flash he was behind her.
"Sakura maybe one day we can be together…" he unsheathed his katana. "But not in this life time" Sakura slowly turned to face him with tears brimming in her eyes and even with her blurry vision just before the blade pierced her skin she gasped as she saw Sasuke's eyes. "Naruto" was her last word and the blade went through her form. She went limp and he grabbed her as she fell forward and laid her on the ground.
"Thank you Sakura, for everything" Sasuke said as he continued walking towards the Hokage tower.
