Snow
such a powerful force in a blizzard but alone nothing but a mere frozen water droplet... just drifting from the heavens. A white frozen gift from above. It's peaceful... something everyone's personality needs...
Zuko's eyes shut as a blizard like
wind swept by. His face, scratched by the cold wind as well as the
salt from the water and air around him. the Sky was a lightly set
grey. He actually managed to open his eyes after the frigid tundra
winds blew by. He sighed as he looked to his uncle. "Uncle, how
long has it been since the last snow..."
He pondered for a
minute, "did it even snow last year?"
He sighed. Iroh only shrugged, "I don't think so, but i'm not sure... But it is nice to see a change in weather yes?"
Zuko nodded wholely. "Uncle can you bring me a cup of tea. This wind is ripping at me... chilling me to the bone."
He sighed. Iroh nodded and headed off. A flake of snow dropped to his face and landed on the bridge of his nose. He merely smiled. His eyes shut and then he began to enjoy the solitude. No yelling, no screaming, and most importantly, no sign of the avatar. This caused him to relax slightly. Since he now knew where the young bending boy was headed he could begin to relax more. Just as soon as he was nodding off to sleep his uncle came back with the tray of hot green tea. a bit of ginseng added for a tad bit more flavor. Zuko slowly took his cup and began to quietly sip from his tiny cup. The warmth rushed through his mouth to his throat causing his face to flush. He smiled slightly as this occured, it was a drastic change in temperature. He breathed out slightly watching his breath become visible. Iroh looked at Zuko and smiled. "Nephew, i love seeing you at such a laxed state. It's very unlike you.." Zuko sighed and stood up, "well, it's because i'm usually chasing after the avatar... But since i know where he's headed off to i have nothing to worry about.. Besides, the snow is a nice change...It's calming for me... and the cold helps me think better."
He smiled at the sky. "I think i'm going to head in uncle."
Iroh nodded and smiled, "Good idea, i'm heading in for a nap."
He then waddeled off to his quarters as zuko just walked to his chamber and sat amongst his bed. His eyes slowly began to shut. He layed in his bed for an hour then faded off into a slumber.
