So I caught a few episodes of Mech X4 on TV and I was pleasantly surprised that I liked it so much. It's actually a pretty cool, funny show that I recommend! Lol anyways, here's just a little thing I put together last night cause I like Ryan and Spyder (bromance). Anywho! Hope you enjoy :)

"Oh my gosh," Spyder sighed, laying his bike down and crossing his arms over his chest. "Are you seriously asleep on top of a car? What if somebody drove by, you moron?"

"Well, I was asleep on top of a car," Ryan grumbled, pushing himself up. He glared down at Spyder. "What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at school?"

"Shouldn't you?" Spyder countered. "Mark is. I asked him where you were and he said you were still at your dad's."

"Then how'd you know to come here?"

"I didn't, but I think I left my skateboard in Mech X4."

Ryan chuckled. Spyder pursed his lips and climbed on the hood beside him. "I'm surprised you haven't asked me about my face yet."

Spyder shrugged. "It's been ugly since the day I met you, so there's no use in asking anymore." Ryan rolled his eyes and shoved Spyder. Spyder chuckled. "But yeah, what happened?"

"My dad's getting married," Ryan sighed, "and he wants Mark and me to come to the wedding. I refused, obviously, because who wants to see their dad remarry to someone who's not your mom?"

"True," Spyder nodded.

"I got mad and, by the way, I can't control my powers when I get mad. He's going lamp shopping tomorrow, for sure. Anyways, then he got mad and-"

"Because you broke the lamp?"

"No, I blamed it on the wind. He got mad because I got mad, then he called me ungrateful, and then he slapped me. And, you know, my instinct was to hit back because of years of fighting with Mark."

"Yeah."

"So I hit him in the chest, not as hard, though, and that really ticked him off. That's when he got my lip and I realized I was no match for a sumo wrestler."

Spyder snorted. "Are you gonna tell anyone?"

Ryan shrugged. "Harris, for sure. Maybe Mark, if he notices. No one else, though. There's no point when I see the guy once a month, you know?"

"Yeah. So, what are we going to do the rest of the day?"

"We could mess around with Mech X4."

Spyder smiled. "Ah, I knew there was a reason we were best friends." After they slid off the car and the satellite scanned Ryan's face, Spyder added, "You know, you really shouldn't go back there again."

"You worried 'bout me or something?" Ryan teased.

"Well, yeah. Divorces suck, dude. Been there, done that. And Mark's not even going anymore since he turned sixteen, so you shouldn't, either."

"I can't just shut him out, though. I mean, he's still my dad. But you're right, I shouldn't go. Seeing him start a new family won't help anything."

Spyder sighed and looked up at Mech X4, who was walking toward them. "This stays out here, okay? When we're up there, we're idiots in control of a giant robot."

Ryan laughed and nodded. "Sounds like a plan."
