bDon't Say Goodbye./b
Of all the things she had seen in her life, of all the places she had been, the sight before her sent shivers down her spine. The aching feeling of being useless as your loved dies was a feeling that Alison was very familar with. Two people had died in her arms while she stood by and watched helplessly, and soon it was to be three. It was as if there was some unknown power that had destined Allie to be alone forever and she would have to battle to win, and so far, it was winning. "Just let her go, use me..." Her throat constricted and all she wanted to do was scream out, to tell him no, but slowly the woman nodded, crawling in her catlike stature towards Allie and untying the knots that bounded her wrists. The rough edges of the rope had left her wrists raw and she gently rubbed them before walking towards him, hoping she would at least get this one last chance to say goodbye, but the woman had other plans. She began to pull Allie away, ignoring her pleds before he spoke up. "Wait, please. Just...five minutes?" With a hiss the woman threw her back to the ground and turned, standing guard at the door as the two watched each other's every move. "I'm sorry I got us into this, I'm sorry that I couldn't protect you..."
"Bruce." She spoke softly, her accent making it almost impossible for anyone to understand, but she knew he would hear her and would relish in the memory of how she said his name. He had told her that it was one of his favorite things to hear and she wanted it to be one of the last she would hear from her. Before her thoughts could catch up to her or the woman could come back, she pressed her lips gently against his, and then more forcefully when she could her the door reopen.
"Get up," the woman purred as she picked her up by her upper arm, digging her nails into the skin that was exposed.
"I'll make it out, and I'll find you, alright? I'll come to you..." Allie hadn't noticed it but she could now taste the tears that were running down her pale cheeks as she listened to Bruce call out for her, her blue eyes searching for a way to run back to him, to only find there was no means of escape. The woman pushed her until she reached another room, much similar to the warehouse they were just in, and brutally thrust her into the nearest wall. Blood slowly dripped from the corner of her mouth as she lift her hand to see the crimson stain her ashen hands.
"I thought I got to leave, that you would let me go free?" With her wicked laugh, the woman slowly closed the door. Seperating her and then man she loved for what Allie could only think of as eternity.
