A/N: Hey everyone...this is just something my friend and I came up with after the GOF book was released. Therefore, we didn't know about the prophecy and so on and so forth. This was our version, then, of how Voldemort would die.
It was initially posted in another website but it disappeared. So, now I have recreated the story which was originally done in a stroke of wackiness. Hope you like it...on with the story!
"You lie!" Harry cried out
"Now why would I lie, Mr Potter?" Lucious Malfoy said, a cruel smile playing on his lips.
"But...but it can't be!" he whispered.
"But…it is, Mr Potter," Malfoy replied, smirking. "Muahahahhahahahahah"
"Prepare to die Mr Potter..." Malfoy screamed. "Avaaaaada Keda-"
"Let him go!" a voice shouted.
Lucious Malfoy whipped around to find himself looking at the form of Remus Lupin.
"Remus, no!" Harry cried. "Please get out of here. I can't lose you too"
"I'm not going anywhere without you Harry" said Remus calmly.
"Ahh, the werewolf has decided to join in the fun. How delightful! Now you can share Mr Potter's fate. You go first-muahahahahahahahahah."
"Any last words, hmm?"
"Well, I hate you!"
"Anything else?" Malfoy replied with an arch of his brow.
"Yes! I really hate you."
"Very well, now prepare to-"
"No, wait!" Harry yelled. "I also want to say that…that…that…"
"Mr Potter, if you don't get to your point in this century, I'm afraid I wouldn't have the honours of killing your dear werewolf…time itself would do that."
"Ummm…"
"Save your words, Harry," Remus said mildly. "You'll get your chance later. It's my turn presently."
"Oh, yeah."
"That's it. Enough foreplay. Aavaaada Kedaaavra."
There was a crack sound as a black figure materialised out of thin air right in front of Lucious Malfoy, his midnight black cloak swirling dramatically.
Thus, Tom Marvolo Riddle, self-proclaimed Lord Voldemort, died the most unnatural, unexpected, undramatic, unromantic manner as the curse that was not meant for him, hit him.
So, everyone lived happily ever after, with the bad guys reformed, seemingly, and the good guys remaining good till the end of their days.
