The Hunger Games - Willow and Rye

This is a short story about Katniss and Peeta's children, unnamed in the book so made names up, it is about how they are growing up and what their lives are like.

Chapter 1 - Willow

I am Willow. My parents are Peeta and Katniss Mellark. I have a brother called Rye. I live in district 12. My parents regularly tell me stories of what it was like when they were growing up. I know they had both had to partake in the Huger Games and how they still have nightmares about their pasts. I have black hair like my mother, and blue eyes like my father. My brother, two years younger than me, has blond hair like my father but grey eyes like my mother.

My mum often tells me about what life was like after the rebellion. I love it when she tells me stories of her sister, Primrose, she loved her so much and it was so sad what happened.
