Disclaimer: the angel is the only orginal character in my story.

Monk was walking with Natalie down the road one day when everything froze. Looking up he saw an angel.

"Adrian Monk," she said, "You are an examplitory man. For all of your good works the Father has decided to rewards you by allowing you to go back in time and save one person who passed away. You will have 45 days to wait and then you can do it"

Monk was delighted. Natalie was happy for him. The next day it was Saturday and Natalie came in looking upset.

"Natalie, are you okay?"

"I've been better," Natalie admitted, "Mr. Monk I need to ask you a tiny favor"

"Go ahead"

"Julie's LUKEMIA has returned."

Oh GOD, Monk thought, I know where this is leading.

"Natalie I'm so sorry"

"Thank you, I know you are," Natalie told him, "and I would never ask this if I didn't absolutely need it"

I can't, he thought

"Go ahead," he said

"Mr. Monk I need you to save Mitch. He's the only one that has the same bone marrow type as Julie. I can't lose her Mr. Monk… I can't lose Julie"

Oh this is so unfair, Monk thought

"I, I want Trudy but you need Mitch," Monk said slowly, "need tops want any day of the week"

"Is that a yes," Natalie asked

No, Monk thought

"That's a yes," he said out loud

Natalie cried and hugged her friend who awkwardly hugged her back

"There now," he told her, "there now"

"I love you for this Mr. Monk," she told him

That night Adrian was feeling sad. While he was looking at pictures of Trudy the angel came again.

"Adrian Monk for your kindness to your friend the heavenly father thinks again you should be rewarded so you will also have Trudy restored to you"

"Really," Monk asked excitedly, "are you serious?"

"I'm as series as a car bomb," the angel said.

Monk threw her a look but he was smiling. It didn't matter anymore.

Natalie was getting Mitch back. Julie was going to get well. Best of all he was getting his beloved Trudy back. Suddenly everything seemed right with the world again. It was no longer a world with disorder and confusion everywhere.
