Prompt Number Six: Prompt #15 [Location] Riverdale Public Library

...

Looking up from her text book. "What?"

"I love you." Veronica husked out. Her chocolate eyes never leaving the shinning blue green ones across from her. "I really really love you."

A light blush heated up her face. "I know that V. You tell me that every time you look at me." Betty leaned forward and rested her chin against her upturned hands. "I love you also." She husked out as she watched the flush rise a little higher on her girlfriend's cheeks. "But love; we really do need to study."

"I love studying you." Veronica reached out and gently traced her girlfriend's cheekbone.

"Ronnie." Betty groaned. "We need to study." Her eyes drifted down to her text book; then right up into her girl's eyes. "Remember we are still in high school."

Veronica simply hummed.

Betty sighed deeply. "I'm going back to studying Ronnie." She squinted her eyes. "I suggest you do the same baby."

"I love it when you call me that." Veronica whispered. She leaned forward and placed her lips against her loves. Biting Betty's bottom lip before pulling away. "Okay I can study now. Really." Her eyes twinkled. She sat back in her seat. Her head bowed as she took in her text book. "After all I know you don't want a stupid girlfriend shackled to you."

"Hey." Betty said in a low and firm tone.

Veronica lifted her head. "I was kidding B. Just kidding." She moved so that her ankle could touch Betty's. "I'm sorry for getting so distracted. You are right we are still in high school. We do need to study the education part of life ... not just one another."

Before Betty could replay someone stood at the end of their table. "Betty I seriously need your help."

Veronica tore her eyes off of her girlfriend and glared over at the student. "Get lost." She growled.

"Ronnie." Betty berated her girlfriend. Turning to face her fellow student. "How can I help?"

"Can you tutor me?" The highly freaked out male spoke. "I seriously need to get a B- on this test ... other wise my old man will ground me until the end of the year. Which means no Tennis for me."

"What's your current grade?" Veronica sighed knowing that Betty would agree to tutor their class mate. Betty couldn't turn down anyone in need.

"C+." The Adam's apple on the kid was gulping like mad.

Betty sighed. "I'll help." She held up her hand. "But I'm telling you that you better work hard in these tutor sessions Chad. If I feel like you are wasting my time ... then you are on your own."

Chad nodded quickly. "I promise." He sighed. "It's just this is my toughest subject. Always has been. My dad just doesn't understand that I'm doing my best. My best is C+. But dad demands a B-." He sighed. "Once I meet that demand then Dad will demand I get a B. Then all the way up to A."

Betty and Veronica eyes met in understanding.

"Thank you Betty." Chad said before he took off towards the back of the public library.

Veronica sighed. "Whom wants to bet that Chad will be needing a lot more tutoring then this one test." She sighed as she realized that someone else was going to take up the limited time she had to spend with Betty.

Betty leaned forward. "We can help Chad together; Ronnie. You are excellent in this subject also." A small smile graced her lips.

"I would love that." Veronica grinned. "Now Betty I don't know about you. But I have some studying to do here." Her head lowered back to her text books.

Betty started to laugh under her breath. "Touche."
