Chapter 1
After Richard and Emily leave Rory's graduation ceremony Rory finds her Mom and and Luke.
''hey.'' Rory says
''hey sweetie congradulations!'' Lorelai says kissing her cheek and hugs her
''awe thanks Mom.'' she says
''hey Rory congradulations.'' he says and hugs her
''awe thanks Luke.'' she says hugging him back
''so what are you going to do now kido?'' Lorelai asks her
''well I was thinking I would go catch back up with Paris,Lucy,and Olivia and hang out with them for a little while longer before we all have to say goodbye to each other.'' Rory tell sher
''oh okay.'' Lorelai says
''okay so I'll catch back up with you guys at home later okay?'' Rory questions her
''okay bye hun.'' Lorelai says and kisses her cheek walking her walk away
''come on hun.'' Luke says wrapping his arm around her back and starts walking back to the truck with her
Lorelai wipes her eye quickly.
''are you crying?'' he asks her
''What? No!'' Lorelai tells him
''okay.'' he says
''its just that my little girl just graduated college and is all grown up now and on her own and she doesn't need me anymore.'' she cries to him
''she will still need you, you will see.'' he tells her helping her get into the truck and rubs her knee comfortingly and wipes her tears and kisses her then closes the door
Luke goes around the other side and gets in the drivers seat and puts his seatbelt on and turns the truck on and squeezes her hand gently and comfortingly
Lorelai just tries to smile at him wiping her eyes.
Luke lets go and starts driving home and Lorelai just looks out the window wiping her eyes and most of the ride home is quite.
when they get home they get out of the truck.
''okay why don't you go inside and go upstairs and take a nice long hot shower and put your sweats on and crawl into bed and I will go and make you some chicken noodle soup french fries, and mashed potatoes and bring them over to you?'' he asks her
Lorelai just nods ''okay sounds great.'' she says and kisses him and goes inside
Luke goes back to the diner to get cooking for her.
Lorelai goes inside and goes upstairs and lays her sweats on the bed and goes into the bathroom to start her shower.
