An average sized man wore a white-cuffed sleeve but pulled it back some as it started to get hot inside the bar. Being the bartender he had to meet a lot of weird people including drunks.

He shuffled his blonde cowlick hair as his blue hues scanned the full bar filled with drunkards, dancers, and prostitutes. It was a lively scene as the music boomed to the four walls, dimmed lights, and you get the picture.

He didn't expect to see her there. She stood out like a sore thumb and it amused him. She watched the petite woman make her way to the bar.

"Are you lost?" he asked with a smile on his face. This girl wore some showgirl outfit and her blue eyes looked at him. "I said if you were lost. What's your name?"

She glared "I am not lost. Actually, I'm performing up on the show in a few minutes. I need to get in costume so give me a Cosmopolitan. Now" she slammed her hand on the table.

Roxas rolled his eyes preparing the well-known drink. As he was the middle of making it he noticed she was gone from sight. He finished the drink and sat in down a coaster wondering where she went.

Then he saw lights turn brighter as everyone started to gather to the other side of the bar. He stared in shock hearing the instruments play a jazzy sort of noise then a girl said 'hhhheeyy' to the crowd.

He turned his attention toward it seeing that girl who was there before. Only she wore jean shorts, a white tank top, and a microphone to her ear to her mouth, red lipstick, a hat, and her hair turned longer and straighter.

Who was she again? He tried to rack in his brain. She seemed familiar but he couldn't put his finger on it. He should get her name when she comes over here to get her drink. There were other two girls, a red head and a girl with black hair. He watched all of them amazed at her singing.

Just do your thang honey!

I could feel it from the start,
Couldn't stand to be apart.
Something about you caught my eye,
something moved me deep inside!
Don't know what you did boy but
You had it and I've been hooked ever since.
I told my mother, my brother, my sister and my friend
I told the others, my lovers, both past and present tense.
Everytime I see you everything starts making sense.

Her body moved to every beat as she sang so loudly grabbing everyone's attention. Roxas felt her eyes on him sometimes but he ignored it thinking he was crazy. No wonder she is so demanding. She thinks she is a superstar, he said to himself.

He saw his friends Sora and Riku come in with similar outfits dancing to Kairi and Xion. He rose a brow wondering how long have they known that there would be a performance this big and how they learned the steps.

Just do your thang honey!

Ain't no other man, can stand up next to you
Ain't no other man on the planet does what you do
(what you do).
You're the kinda guy, a girl finds in a blue moon.
You got soul, you got class.
You got style with your bad ass - oh yeah!
Ain't no other man its true - all right -
Ain't no other man but you.

Never thought I'd be all right. No, no, no!
Till you came and changed my life. Yeah, yeah, yeah!
What was cloudy now is clear! Yeah, yeah!
You're the light that I needed.
You got what I want boy, and I want it!
So keep on givin' it up!

Someone came up to him, a girl with long brown curly hair and green eyes. He smiled remembering her. Olette?

She smiled lazily "can I have a Martini?"

Roxas laughed his attention caught to her "of course you can. Enjoying the show?" as he watched her as she smiled. He passed her the drink then suddenly he felt like the music got louder.

Or her voice did

Tell your mother, your brother, your sister, and your friend.
And the others, your lovers, better not be present tense.
Cause I want everyone to know that you are mine and no one else's!

Oooooooo, oh!

Ain't no other man, can stand up next to you
Ain't no other man on the planet does what you do
(what you do).
You're the kinda guy, a girl finds in a blue moon.
You got soul, you got class.
You got style your bad ass - oh yeah!
Ain't no other man it's true - all right -
Ain't no other man but you.

Break it down now!

The girl's eyes were now focused so intently on Roxas that he knew that he wasn't just thinking it. Her stare was hard but when her attention turned toward Olette it was with hate. Predatory stare.

What the hell is her problem? He wondered.

Something irked him. Demyx his boss was the dancer next to the mystery girl. He knew Demyx who was happily married but sometimes a little flamboyant.

Ain't no other, ain't, ain't no other! (other)
Ain't no other, ain't, ain't no other LOVER!
Ain't no other, I, I, I need no other!
Ain't no other man but you!

Ohhhh!

You are there when I'm a mess
Talk me down from every ledge
Give me strength, boy you're the best
You're the only one who's ever passed every test

Ain't no other man, can stand up next to you
Ain't no other man on the planet does what you do
(what you do).
You're the kinda guy, a girl finds in a blue moon.
(You're the kinda guy, a girl finds oooo yeahh)
You got soul, you got class.
You got style your bad ass - oh yeah!
Ain't no other man it's true - all right -
Ain't no other man but you.

The miniature superstar pointed her finger to the crowd as they went wild then it usually was. Then she stepped down from the stage singing going to the crowd. It was as if she was Moses and parted the crowd in the middle as she made her way toward Roxas.

She glared at Olette as Olette drank her drink fast leaving toward the crowd. She took Roxas out from behind the counter and started to dance to him. She gave a look do-not-embarrass-me-so-dance to Roxas.

Roxas mentally sighed as he followed her steps but being the leader of the dance. As the miniature superstar tried to dominate herself but found herself in the hands of Roxas.

And now I'm tellin' you, so ain't no other man but you.

The miniature superstar pushed Roxas to the counter as the last words slipped out her mouth. She laughed as the song ended as the crowd went wild. She tried to kiss him but Roxas moved away going back to behind the counter.

She forced a smile as she waved going to the back. She sighed when she heard her name being called upon.

"Naminé!"

Naminé didn't really feel like talking to anyone. She thought that she would grab his attention just like the other time she met him. Was it only a one-night stand? She knew it was but it wasn't wrong to have hope.

Naminé found him by Kairi's (the redhead) boyfriend Sora who worked there. She sighed wiping the makeup off taking off the wig as she turned toward her friends.

Xion smiled "at least you talked to him" Naminé sighed loudly to glare at herself at the mirror.

Xion tagged Kairi as she came over to play with her hair "who needs him? You can always have another by a snap of your wrist" she massaged her shoulders.

Naminé gripped the mirror "I just don't understand…he was fascinated with me before and wasn't slow to try to pursue me. I guess all men are just pigs" she smashed the mirror with her fist seeing it crack.

She looked at the mirror seeing the broken image of her. Do not cry for a guy. You are stupid so man up and take it like one she thought.

Roxas stared at the cosmopolitan drink sitting on the coaster. How could Roxas forget who she was? That one night stand to a dancer show he once went because he lost a dare to his friends. So he ended meeting Naminé in all her glory.

Roxas knew one-night stands are wrong especially in the morning. He remembered partially but he didn't want to.

~.~.~.~.~.~.~

Roxas gathered his things as he stared at the show dress that he had easily slipped off her. He started towards the door when a meek voice spoke out to him.

"Roxas?" it was a small needed voice. Roxas inhaled air as he strode out the door without looking back.

~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~

"Roxas?"

He fell on the floor but quickly stood up face to face with Naminé. Her face was impassive to tell what she was feeling.

She took the drink letting it slide down and sat it back on the coaster staring at him "you okay?"

He awkwardly laughed, "Why wouldn't I be fine? I just happened to remember who you are and just a bit awkward"

Naminé forced a laugh "of course. You left without looking back so of course it was bound to be awkward"

"I had to. It wasn't planned for you and me…to…that. I wasn't thinking so lets put it behind us" he sighed

She rolled her eyes "we had sex Roxas. Are you that embarrassed to say it? We did the deed. I enjoyed it for my part and I thought for a second you cared about me. You talked to me like I was special, I was worth something, and I could think that men were different. Apparently not. Maybe in a different world it could happen" she got off the stool and strode toward the door.

Roxas cursed "shit" he jumped over the counter to get her but he was outside and found no one. "Naminé?" Naminé was around the corner listening to him call her name. She will do the same thing he did to her; she turned away and never looked back.

-…-…-…-…-…-…-

Soon the miniature superstar became an actual superstar. Naminé was living the life as she looked out the window but sighed. She was alone in the big house. Kairi and Xion decided that they wanted love than fame. They encouraged Naminé to go by herself and it was a long lonely journey.

What if she turned to Roxas's call? What would happen? What if she didn't walk away? What if she stayed to see him again?

She shook her head knowing that Roxas probably forgot all about her. He was the lonely bartender and she was the big superstar. Love would be hard for them especially her crazy fans.

One had sent her a picture of herself looking at flowers and many more. Creepy fans she said shivering. He probably hooked up with that chick he was talking with.

The thought angered her slightly. Surely she was prettier than that girl. She grabbed her brown coat with a black hoodie heading out to the rain. She went out to a small pub that they had here. She was thousands of miles away from all her friends. Though she wished she could see all of them.

She sat down on a stool and then noticed a drink sitting there. Cosmopolitan. Weird she thought. She then felt a smile as she turned to see the bartender but her smile dropped seeing it was another man by the name of Cloud. Blonde hair and blue eyes. Why must bartenders look like that? Is it a code? She thought bitterly. For a second she thought it could've been Roxas.

"Hey Cloud! Your shift is over so you can…oh"

Naminé turned to see in the poor lighting of this place was Roxas. His featured turned manlier with a still clean-shaven face. She laughed slightly seeing him after all this time.

"Naminé? Or should I call you by your star name?" he smiled slightly but she could easily see sadness or was it hope?

She licked her lips glad that the bar was empty "just Naminé. What are you doing here?" she eyed the glass of Cosmopolitan.

He laughed, "The bar back home got shut down. So I had no job when my brother Cloud offered me one here"

Cloud rolled his eyes "that bull right there. Tell her the truth. Ever since you came to work here, you always put a Cosmopolitan drink there. No one touched it and when someone asked about it you said 'it's for someone'"

Roxas felt a tinge of pink on his cheeks "okay! Can you just leave?" he pushed Cloud out the door and turned toward Naminé. "Okay I lied. The bar back home is being held by Sora and Riku. You fell off the face of the planet until you were all over magazines so I followed you. Cloud had a pub near you so I begged him for a job. So he gave it to me"

Naminé smiled as she took the drink "wow. You actually followed me? Why did you do it?"

"Answer me first. Why did you leave when I called your name?" he said sternly as Naminé saw that sadness.

"I was giving back what you did to me"

He held Naminé's face "Nams. I'm sorry for walking out on you. I let you walk out and I hate to see it again. We don't really know each other and you are a superstar," he whispered

She sighed, "I know. I'm sorry. Why did you follow me?"

He smiled staring at her eyes "because something told me I had to fix what I started. We can try to work this out"

"But this won't work out! I get creepy photos of me by some of my fans. If they find out or anyone then this will turn hell for you. I don't want that" she whispered fiercely as his lips ghosted over hers. She was losing sense of what people thought or what they would do.

"Then let's just see where it take us" he smiled pulling back and Naminé frowned. "What I do?" he teased

Naminé was going to be in a world of trouble with her manager. She looked at Roxas smiling and knew it was worth it.
