A/N: Alright, so this is my first Adommy fanfic, it was an idea I got just before I went to bed. Always happens with me. Luckily, though, the idea stayed with me untill the morning when I was able to actually make something of it. I'm thinking it's going to be a one-shot, but there is a possibility I will continue it. Will post it to LJ as soon as I figure out how... Hehe. I'm not too sure as to which specific gerne to put it in, but I'll manage. I will have, anyway, if you're reading this. So...ramble over. Won't you please press that little button at the bottom, and scribble down a few words? Preferably about this. Thanks in advance, and enjoy!

As Adam's consciousness slowly returned, he could feel arms around him. Long, lean arms draped in clothing. He opened his eyes warily, wondering what he had been up to the night before to get him in this situation. Once he was squinting at the person resting on his chest he wasn't worried anymore. Tommy's boisterous whitish hair was brushing against his still covered skin. They had not taken their clothes off. A good sign, Adam hoped. He only then realized that his arms as well, were loosely embracing the man next to him. He tightened his grip and they ended up laying on the side, facing each other. Adam's chin was now resting against his bassist's mentioned hair.

After slumbering for another hour, Adam woke from Tommy's embrace tightening around him. Seemed like it wasn't only Adam that was enjoying this rare moment of closeness.

"Tommy..." Adam whispered and watched amusedly as his speaking startled Tommy into nearly falling off the bed.

"Shit, man, don't scare me like that!" he said and sat up on the other side of the king sized bed in the rock star's hotel room for the night.

"I didn't mean to scare you," Adam said in a low, comfortable tone. He wanted to make his fellow musician come back, he wanted that closeness again, but he didn't want to alienate Tommy as a friend. He might think the singer wanted more than friendship between them. Which he did, for that matter, but that wasn't the point. He just wanted his friend's skin against his once more.

Slightly hesitatingly, Adam reached out for Tommy, his arms saying what his mouth didn't dare to. To his surprise, this caused for Tommy's expressions to soften and a smile to play on his lips.

Not needing anything more to be said, Tommy crawled closer and tentatively lay beside his friend.

Smiling with both eyes and soul, Adam drew him closer still and the two took a deep, calming breath simultaneously.

-Tommy's POV-

"This is nice," Tommy sighed, almost intoxicated by Adam's scent and unaware of himself.

Adam's soft laugh rumbled and made his skin tingle in an unexpected way. Adam had some strange effect on him, and more and more it seemed like he couldn't be happy or relaxed without him around. His mind drifted to those on-stage kisses, the 'fan service' as they called them. He thought they might mean more to him than that. He knew they meant more to Adam – he had said that himself some time ago.

Before Tommy could reflect on whether to take the next step in their relationship, he had fallen asleep helplessly, him and Adam's limbs intertwined and Adam stroking his hair. As he slept in the arms of his friend, boss and more than once guardian angel, a smile was sculpted on his lips, because he dreamt of the first time they would touch Adam's without the fans looking.

Little did he know that at that moment, a ghost of a kiss was pressed to his lips – perhaps a subconscious promise of what was to come.
