Grave Robber:

Didn't I tell you not to go out?

Didn't I?

Videl:

You did

You did

Grave Robber:

Didn't I say the cops were there?

Didn't I?

Videl:

You did…

You did…

Grave Robber:

Then tell me how this happened, what you did wrong, tell me why!

Videl:

Can we just go home, Grave, and forget this dreadful night?

Zydrate Addicts:

No!

Videl:

Didn't you say that things were different?

Didn't you?

Grave Robber:

They are

They are

Videl:

Say I'm not the cause, please…

Say it

Grave Robber:

You are

You are

Videl:

Tell me what to do, Grave

What to say, Grave

Tell me, please

Is everyone really dead?

Everyone is deceased?

Grave Robber:

Didn't you say that you'd protect them?

Didn't you?

Videl:

I tried!

I tried!

Grave Robber:

Is that how you'd help me?

Is it?

Videl:

God, no...

Fuck… no…

Scalpel Sluts:

Don't help us any more, Del

You are dead, Del, in our eyes

Someone will replace you

Del, we hate you

Go and die!

Grave Robber:

Didn't I take you under my wing, didn't I?

Didn't we build an empire together, didn't we?

Then Amber took it from us!

Stole our lifestyle!

She's to blame

Have we failed each other?

Then let the empire fall!

And let the bloodlust call!

The grave robber, Del, sat on the cold, moist alley ground, scornful stares burning into her from the battered drug addicts and prostitutes. Those who once relied solely on her and the Grave Robber for a small pick-me-up, a pre-surgery "cocktail", or the fix for an addiction their lives were devoted upon glared at her with vindictive daggers.

Del looked to the Grave Robber, his moonlight colored face staring back, unwavering. Her hands dripped with blood of unidentifiable victims, be it police or prostitutes.

Grave Robber:I placed my faith within you. (Grave Robber stares down at Del)

Videl:I'd do anything to please you… (She shudders, his eyes piercing her with a guilt he never meant to exude.)

Grave Robber:Their lives rested in your hands. (He crosses his arms, still glaring at the cowering apprentice)

Videl:And I'll do whatever I can… (She glances up at him, trying to look valiant or brave, anything to improve her current, cowardly disposition)

Grave Robber:When it was your time to shine you fell.

Videl:To save us all from this hell…

Please don't scorn me for-

Grave Robber:QUIET! (He shouts, causing her to wince)

Videl:Where were they when we were alone? (She tears up slightly before pointing to the addicts and the Grave Robbers so-called "loyal clients" that were caught in the "incident".)

In the graveyard behind the stones

Cowering in squalid fear!

And when we screamed, did no one hear! (Standing on weak legs, Del grasps the fur cuffs of the drug dealer's jacket)

Was it an accident or a fucking set up!

(The bystanders appear taken back by the accusations, murmuring to one another feelings of hatred and disgust towards the Grave Robber's pet.)

Is someone gonna' say something? (Del walks towards her accusers, daring them to say anything different)

Will ANYBODY speak UP!
