Monica smiled up at the man, who was so handsome. She couldn't believe he had just asked her out. He smiled back. His green eyes shone. She leant in, and kissed him. She didn't feel any electricity, but they hadn't even had the date yet. He was looking at her differently.
"What?" She asked.
"I was just thinking, we could skip the whole dating thing. Just a one night stand. Who needs a relationship?" He said, and then he grinned.
He leant in to kiss her, but Monica slapped him. He stared at her and she stepped out into the rain, not even caring that she had no umbrella. She collapsed onto the curb and started crying.
Why?
Why are all guys such jerks?
Does she just attract complete idiots?
She continued crying in the rain, giving up.
