Sakura looked with anticipation in her eyes while Sasuke stared at the bento box that had appeared in front of him. Although she was watching from afar, she still thought that he would know it was her and would eat it happily. He sniffed it and then picked it up.
'This is it! He's finally going to-'Sakura's thoughts were cut off with the swinging motion of Sasuke throwing the bento box at the seagulls. Her jaw dropped. 'Another day, another failure' Sakura thought to herself. Then, Hinata can with a bento box and she looked at Sasuke.
Sasuke walked up to her and asked "Are you going to eat that?"
Sakura twitched. 'Why was Sasuke asking if she was going to eat her lunch?' she thought to herself as the Hyuuga Heiress stared for a second before sitting across from Sasuke and opened her bento box.
"You can have some if you like" she offered with a smile. Sasuke took up his chopsticks from his empty lunch which he had eaten earlier and picked up an egg roll. Sasuke put the egg roll in his mouth and started to chew. The colour in Sakura's face faded away as she witnessed this scene. That was until Sasuke swallowed the egg roll.
"Thanks Hinata, that was good. Girls have been offering me food all day but nothing is as good as yours" He said with a smile. Not a smirk but a smile. Sakura basically fainted afterward.
