Valentine's Day. The lovey-dovey occasion drove sickening thoughts to his stomach. He could vomit right now. Romance was too much for him. Roses were aromatic and venemously sweet for him. Tulips were too joyous, bright and grateful for him. He adored orange tiger lilies. They weren't too bright nor romantic and intimate. The scent wasn't revoltingly succulent either. Chocolates were totally devious and disgustingly sticky. Gooey, copper brown substance molded into hearts. Uggggghhhhh!!!!! Sure, he was a junk food addict at heart but chocolates were not listed as his favorable junk food.
They manipulated minds to travel to feelings of lust, affection, desire, intimacy and worst of all, infatuation. Cards were okay for his standards as long they weren't doused in glitter, decorated with silk or raffia ribbons or dipped in stinky perfume. He preferred pink cards with a simple purple heart scribbled on it. He didn't mind unspoiled presents. Nope, Robbie Rotten was strictly simple-minded, cured from the desire of being a romantic and never minded girls ignoring him. Who needed the oppisite gender anyway? Robbie never enjoyed the pleasures of a merry love life. His old girlfriend played him and cheated on him. So, Robbie vowed to never be smitten again. He would love to gag himself with a spoon right now. He folded his arms and spied through his periscope.
Up top
Stephanie intricately carved neat and complicated roses and hearts on the heart-shaped porcelain box in front of her. Placing her penknife down she cautiously pressed a 2-inch smaller heart-shaped mirror into the porcelain frame. Gluing it in place, she inserted a computer chip that Pixel designed into a miniature compartment in the box. He said that when the person opens the box, a variety of love melodies will play. She grinned in approval of her skillful handicraft and dusted her hands.
Gift-wrapping was certainly NOT one of her strong suits. 10 times she had to beg her uncle for assistance. She wrapped the present in a striped patterned gift-wrap and tied it with a red silk ribbon. She plucked a bouquet of black tiger lilies and knotted them into a bunch. Picking up a piece of construction paper, she simply doodled a beautiful heart on it and attached the bunch of flowers to it with scotchtape. Gulping, she swallowed all her evident courage and exited her door.
Billboard Meeting
Nervousness, anxiety and fear propelled through her entire body. She silently tapped the lid of the hinged hatch. No answer. Soon, someone, grumbling and griping opened the hatch. Robbie Rotten came face-to-face with Stephanie as she thrusted the presents to his face. She hid her blushing face. Robbie was positively speechless!! She had gave him a Valentine's Day gift!!! This was...too good to be true!
"If you want me to leave, I will," Her voice derailed his train of thought. Upon hearing no answer, she turned and left. Only to feel a hand turn her around. Robbie took the gift and ripped away the wrapping. He carefully opened the box and a sweet harmonious tune oozed out of it. He raised an eyebrow at her. She coughed and her cheeks flushed. She made a last attempt to leave. When Robbie pulled her to him and kissed her. Passionately. Stephanie's knees weakened. This was so natural. So pure. So...reflectively loving!!
