Summary: Kain is secretly friends with Zero. Some of the night class find out. What will happen when fights start?
Kain/Zero Friendship

It was night time. Yuuki was inspecting the night class dorms as usual. What she didn't know was that Zero was waiting for Kain in the stables.
''Hey Zero,'' said Kain.
Zero smiled.
''Hello, Kain,'' said Zero.
''I don't get it, why must we meet in secret like this?'' asked Kain.
''Most of the night class hates me, if they knew I was your friend, you would be in danger as well...'' said Zero.
''Well... this is something most interesting,'' said a voice.
Kain and Zero turned around to see Aidou, Rima, Shiki, Ichijo and Ruka were behind them.
''Akatsuki, you traitor... Why are you friends with him?'' asked Aidou.
Kain glared at Aidou.
''So what? How does that make me a traitor?'' asked Kain.
''Zero's tried to kill Kaname many times,'' replied Aidou.
''Kain, Aidou... Don't fight,'' said Ichijo.
Aidou then punched Kain.
''Kain!'' exclaimed Zero.
''I'm alright,'' said Kain, getting up.
Kain then threw Aidou to the ground.
''That's enough,'' said Kaname, walking up to the group.
''Kaname!'' exclaimed Aidou.
''What happened here?'' asked Kaname.
''Kaname, Akatsuki is friends with that Kiryu! I cannot allow it,'' said Aidou.
Kaname slapped Aidou.
''Who are you to decide who he can be friends with? I'm fine if he's friends with Zero,'' said Kaname.
''But...!''
''Kain, you don't have to sleep in the same room as Aidou when day breaks if you don't want to,'' said Kaname.
''Of course I don't... Zero's a good friend and I won't let Aidou stop us from being friends,'' said Kain.
''Very well,'' said Kaname, walking away.
The rest of the night class, excluding Kain walked back to the dorm. Ruka glanced back at Kain and looked down.
''Zero!'' exclaimed a voice.
Yuuki ran up to them.
''Kain, what are you doing here?'' asked Yuuki. ''Did you fight with Zero?''
''Yuuki, Kain and I are good friends...'' said Zero.
''Really?'' asked Yuuki.
Zero nodded.
''That's nice,'' said Yuuki, smiling at Kain.
(The next evening)
The night class walked out of the gates as usual but this time, Kain wasn't walking next to Aidou, who suddenly stopped.
''Akatsuki, I've had enough... I cannot allow you to be friends with Kiryu! Either you break friends with him or I'm never talking to you again!'' shouted Aidou.
The day class girls froze.
''Will you... shut up!'' yelled Kain, punching Aidou.
''I don't want to talk to you anyway! I'm sick of you! Whenever you cause trouble for Kaname, I get dragged into it! Just leave me alone! I'm sick of your crap''
Aidou was about to punch Kain in the face when Ichijo ran in front, trying to stop the two from fighting. It was too late; Ichijo got punched instead and fell to the floor, unconscious.
''Ichijo!'' exclaimed Shiki.
''Alright, that's enough! Everyone except Kain return to the dorm! Shiki, you can take Ichijo back,'' said Kaname.
Once everyone had left, Zero ran up to Kain.
''Are you okay?'' asked Zero.
''I'm fine, Hanabusa probably hates my guts now,'' said Kain.
''Just forget about him, we told each other we'd never break our friendship,'' said Zero.
''You're right,'' said Kain, smiling at him.
Zero smiled back. All of a sudden, there were a million flashes. The day class girls had a camera each and were taking photos.
''Stop taking photos!'' yelled Zero.
The day class girls ran away squealing.
''Though we still have to put up with the zombies,'' said Kain.
''That's a great way of describing them,'' said Zero.
Kain and Zero looked at each other and laughed.
