Chapter 1
I am a half-breed. Not like the normal angels and demons that show up on the human plane. My father was what Constantine calls a 'half-breed', so was my mother. My parents had a forbidden love. My father a demon, my mother an angel. They fell in love and they somehow kept it a secret. For their love, I am banished from Heaven and Hell because of what I am. I see pity and anger in the other 'half-breed's' eyes. I am called the nightmare, the forbidden child, a disaster, an abomination. Maybe I am all of those things, maybe I was never meant to have been born. This is my story of my past, future, and present.
After I was born, my parents love was revealed. My father was deported back to Hell and my mother was made human, eventually dying. I'm not sure where she went from there, no one has ever bothered to tell me. I made friends with humans and every now and then an angel 'half-breed' won't care but they all have to leave, or they die. After my parents died I was still a little girl so I was given to Papa Midnite. As I grew older looking, I helped around in the car. I looked to be in my twenties when I turned ten I think and then I just stopped growing. I have black hair with blue highlights that match my eyes. I can control both water and fire because of my heritage but my blood fights to gain dominance. It tears me up sometimes. It is so painful that I want to die, and yet I can't.
