Harry strode quickly up to Percy's office. The Aurora had told him the papers did not need to be signed right away but he knew he might not have time later that week, so he figured he would get it done spine rather than later. Besides, he thought, the chance to meet an old friend was always welcome.
Just as he lifted his hand to knock on the door, he heard a strange sound. Harry frowned. It sounded like...but surely it couldn't be...Percy Weasley, kissing in the office? Harry stopped short. Then, he smirked. Perhaps Percy's col demeanour was finally thawing. He wondered who the lucky witch or wizard was.
He really ought to find out, he supposed. Grinning, he opened the door as quietly as he could.
He was later told that the scream he let out, was subsequently heard throughout the entire floor.
The two figures disentangled from each othet and turned to face him. Percy raised an eyebrow, straightening his suit.
"Have you ever heard of knocking, Auror Potter?" Percy asked, ever the professional.
Harry stared at him, or rather, them, wordlessly, still unable to believe his eyes.
"You're...she's...but I don't understand..." he began to mutter.
"Ah yes," Percy smiled. "Actually, I meant to thank you for introducing us at that party in the Burrow that day."
Harry blinked.
"Well, I suppose I should be leaving," the woman said, smiling at Percy. He casually pecked her on the cheek and nodded.
Harry stepped aside to let her pass. She did so, giving him an indulgent little pat on the back.
"Now, how can I help you?"
The question brought the dazed Harry back to his senses, if only partly.
"Oh...you need to look through thesr..." he said, handing over the pile of parchment.
He was still somewhat confused as left the office a few minutes later. He had gone loony, surely. There was no way he had seen what he thought he had seen. It was simply impossible. He hoped to never see it again either way. Despite the fact that he had mended relations with her after the war, he did not want to catch Percy Weasley kissing Petunia Dursley in his office ever again.
Unfortunately for him, he did.
