I glanced at the stoned alley way. Why me? There is nothing I could do now. It had happened. All over in a few moments. I obviously deserved it, that's what he said. I stood at the opening of light. I could run or scream for the mountains. I had two chooses scream but he would come and drag me back into the darkness or run and suffer.
I ran. I ran for my life. Well I say I ran, I hobbled to the of the street and collapsed. I had to get back some how. There was his way or the highway. In his eyes anyway but I knew that I could do this stand up and stop him. I just had to come up with a plan.
