...Yep. I'm not a huge fan of SuperMartian but it's cute, so why not. I find Superboy pretty endearing, he reminds me of Starfire, so here we go.

Romance was not something that Conner knew a lot about.

Conner had overheard Robin talking one day about his short stint in Jump City, about a beautiful alien girl who had used their lips so she could learn another language. As far as he knew, Tamaranians and Martians were not of the same species, and, between him and Megan, he didn't know any languages she didn't know already.

So, quite frankly, he didn't understand why she'd go through the process of trying to learn a new language if he didn't have anything to offer. And he knew that Megan had far better aim than she had displayed, because even if she was aiming to learn a new language, she had missed his mouth and met his cheek.

"Superboy," Robin began, a bit of a smile on his face. It was an odd expression; fondness, amusement, embarrassment. "What Starfire did and what Megan implied... they're two different things."

"How can one action mean two different things? That's contradictory."

"Well, firstly, Star's from Tamaran. They do things differently than humans or Martians do. I've told you this, I think," Robin murmured, tilting his head in thought. "Secondly... Megan's trying to be human."

"...And what does it mean in human terms?"

"It's called kissing. It's a romantic gesture." He explained with his hands. His words came out in clumps, as if he was unsure what exactly to say or how to explain it. "Couples do it when they're dating, or married, or...whatever. Star kissed me so she could learn English. Megan kissed you because she likes you. Obviously she thought you like her back, or she wouldn't have done it."

"...'Likes' me?"

A bit of a smile spread onto the younger teen's face. "Yes. 'Likes' you. She wants to date you."

"...Date?"

Superboy was certain he was even more confused than he had been to begin with.
