One bright and beautiful day in Tarrytown, Herky, Jay Jay and Tracy were out at Echo Canyon because they were playing a game of who could make the loudest echo, and that was the best place to do such a feat.
Jay Jay went first. He yelled "HELLO!" has loud as he could manage.
"HELLO! HELLO!" The rocks echoed in response.
"Nice one!" Tracy exclaimed. "Now it's my turn."
She took a deep breath, and then yelled "PINK RULES!" so loud that Jay Jay and Herky winced.
"That was really loud!" Jay Jay told her.
"I know." Tracy replied innocently. "Now it's your turn, Herky."
So the yellow helicopter sighed, flew closer to the canyon, and yelled as loud as he dared to
"I HEARD ABOUT TOBY CLEMENTS FROM MISS JONES!"
The echo was so loud it shook the canyon! Unfortunately, it also caused Jay Jay and Tracy to lose control of their systems and they plummeted to the ground. Rapidly like stones thrown off a bridge.
Thankfully, they avoided falling into the canyon, but instead ended up in a large, deep looking and very murky pond.
Herky was upset and frightened when he saw this. He thought he might get into trouble for it, so he flew away, too ashamed and embarrassed to face his friends.
"Now what do we do?" Tracy asked.
"I don't know, Tracy." replied Jay Jay.
However, as soon as they saw Big Jake flying above them, they yelled up to him to get his attention.

Meanwhile, Herky found himself in Smiling Meadows, only he didn't feel like smiling right now. How could he have left his friends like that? He had to help them!
But as he was about to take off, he saw that Old Oscar had suddenly appeared from nowhere, buty presumably from the airport, if anywhere.
"There you are Herky! You're coming home with me." Old Oscar said jovially, pleased to have found the young helicopter.
"Okay. Are Tracy and Jay Jay alright?" Herky asked hopefully.
"Yes- Big Jake helped them back to Tarrytown. Now come on, Brenda's worried about you."

When the two arrived back at the airport, Brenda, Big Jake, Tracy and Jay Jay were all waiting for him.
"Thank goodness you're alright Herky!" Brenda Blue said.
"I'm sorry, you two." Herky said sadly to his friends, who were still wet and cold despite the mechanic's best efforts to dry them off. "And I'm sorry I ran away- I just didn't want to get into trouble." He added, directing this apology at Brenda.
"That's alright Herky. These things happen, and it was an accident." Brenda reassured. These two will be alright before you know it!"
"We forgive you Herky." Jay Jay added, before sneezing. Tracy repeated Jay Jay's action.
So Herky recruited Snuffy to help Jay Jay and Tracy with their colds they had obtained from the pond. The two told stories and helped cheer the two jets up until they could go out and fly again.
