Another Jay-Jay story by Samantha613, this time it's "The New Hanger" Enjoy and comment.
In Tarrytown, there was an old jet plane named Old Oscar. He was considered one of the oldest jet planes in Tarrytown and everyone there looked up to him.
Old Oscar also liked his hanger no matter how old and dirty it was.
Then one day, a big surprise was waiting for Old Oscar at Tarrytown Airport.
"My goodness, this is really nice of all of you to give me something.", Old Oscar said.
They all showed him the brand new hanger. It looked more efficient and clean.
Old Oscar didn't know what to say. He thought it was okay, however it was no match for him to go for his old one.
"I really like this new hanger," he said, "but I still like my old one."
"We'll know you'll like it and get used to it in a matter of time. Trying new things can be fun.", said Brenda Blue
That night, Old Oscar sat in his hanger.
"I like my new hanger that all of my dear friends gave to me. Only I still like my old one, I still want to be there.", he said to himself quietly. "I don't know if I like this new change."
Old Oscar didn't know what to think.
"I could fly around and see things that'll cheer me up."
So Old Oscar did just that.
"Old things are pretty difficult to let go of, but new things brings new change that others like. If I can get used to my new hanger, I can like just as much as my old one.", he said.
He flew back to Tarrytown, where the others were waiting.
"Everyone, I decided that I like my new hanger and I'll stay in as if it were my old hanger. Changes are difficult to get used to, however there are some that are good in time. And that trying new things can be fun.", said Old Oscar.
Old Oscar then took a look at the old hanger then the new one. He then decided that it doesn't matter if something is old or new, it's the thought that counts and really matters.
He had learned that sometimes, it's good to try out new things, even with your airplane friends.
