Hello, this is Antonio Ro

and welcome to Ultimate Showdown Extra: Character Profiles.

One of several tied in entries to the Main USD series. As mentioned in the Q&A entry. This post is mainly to help set up the main series by providing an accurate profile page on various characters that may or may not appear within the main series.

The research that went into this was extensive as you will soon see. These profiles will contain a summary of the lore, a list of all powers, abilities, and items. Weaknesses. A list of feats that I believe showcases each character's abilities as best as they can. These profiles at the time of their posting will be as up to date as possible. However, should new information be found either by other sources, or simply via release of a sequel or something. I'll be sure to return to whichever profile the new info pertains to in order to update them when I have time.

With that said. Please enjoy this character profile. The first one being Link, The Hero of Time from Zelda and it's a big one. Seriously, there was a lot here.

With that said. Let's get started.

Entry 01

Respect Link the Hero of Time

Link The Hero of Time

(Ocarina of time, Majora's Mask, Twilight Princess)

Lore Summary

Link: The Hero of Time (Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Twilight Princess)

One of several incarnations of Link. This version was created on November 21, 1998, By Nintendo Entertainment Analysis & Development (EAD). First appearing in Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time followed by Majora's Mask and later appearing as the Hero's Shade in Twilight Princess.

Ten years prior to the events of Ocarina of Time, young Link was born in Hyrule during a time of war. Due to the danger surrounding them. Link's mother risk her life in order to bring Link to the Kokiri Forest in hopes that the great forest spirit known as The Great Deku Tree would take mercy and protect her young infant child from the influence of war.

For reasons unknown after the woman's death, the forest spirit would take the infant child under his protection. Raising Link as one of the Kokiri into his mid to late preteen years.

Sadly despite the spirit's hopes of protecting the boy. Destiny would call upon the boy to take action as a sorcerer had arrived within the forest in search of a relic needed to gain access to the Sacred Realm. Unwilling to allow the man to gain the relic. The sorcerer had curse the forest spirit. The dark power would soon claim the spirit as well as its domain. Knowing this, the spirit summon Link, asking for his aid in ridding the curse.

Steeling himself with what courage he could muster. Link enter the spirit's body to locate the source of the curse. After a dangerous battle with the source of the curse, a creature named Queen Gohma. Link won killing the beast as well as ending the curse. Sadly while the forest may have been saved. The strain placed on the spirit by the curse was too much and would sadly passed away; however, not before giving Link the relic that the sorcerer was searching for as well as instructions as what to do with it. Advising Link to visit the princess of Hyrule, Zelda.

With the help of the princess. Link had chosen to fight the evil that shadow over the once great land. However just as evil affect the land he lives in. So too was the future being threatened by the very same evil. Link was forced to travel between two time periods to combat this evil. Throughout his journey he gain many allies, battle various evils as he free the people held hostage under the great evil and instilling hope to those in despair. Along the way he obtain many unique and vastly powerful weapons and magics including the sword of evil's bane, The Master Sword. A weapon forged by the goddesses and a hero of the distant past.

Finally after enduring battles after endlessly harsh battles. Link finally stood in front of the man who had caused this evil. The dark sorcerer Ganondorf, wielder of the Triforce of Power, the Gerudo King. With the Triforce of Power in his hands, the mad king's power on a level no mere mortal could challenge as he faced and fought the young hylian. Link despite the power of his foe stood his ground, armed with a legendary sword and his wits, Link fought back, determined to save the land from the very monster that had enslaved it.

The battle was hard fought but in the end Link was victorious. He had defeated the great evil that affect not only the land but time itself. With this great evil defeated. Link soon returned to his own time.

Some time after returning to his own time. Link would later leave on a journey to find a friend. His travels would take him to the land of Termina. And there Link would face an evil as powerful as Ganondorf if not more so, named Majora who had tried to end the world by bring down the moon. Link must then journey to save the land of Termina from certain doom.

Link face many dangerous foes. Creatures native to the realm as well as the masked beast that acted as seals containing the Termina gods known as the Four Giants. With these beings freed and aiding Link on his quest. Link return to face Majora in single combat before emerging victorious.

With the land saved, Link would continue on his journey to find his friend. What happened passed this point is unknown for the most part. What is known is that Link had passed away at some point after his return to Hyrule.

Link had also became far more powerful in his later years as well. Able to enter and leave the spirit world nearly at will as well as mastering various new powers and skills. Through his power and knowledge he had somehow knew that he may one day be needed again. The evil he faced will no doubt return once he finally pass from this world.

To counter this. Link had a hand in creating the Howling Stones. Each recreating a song that he had once learned to summon him from the after life once again to aid the world. Either by aiding the current hero at the time or perhaps taking part in battling the evil that will once again appear.

Appearance

Link is of Hylian descent, A human like people with the only difference between them and regular humans being their pointed ears and the ability to use magic. It is unknown if this trait adds any benefits. Aside from that. Link's normal garb is shown being a white long sleeve shirt under a green tunic. White to tan color pants. Brown leather boots and gauntlets. He also sports a green cap with a long hood like tail. The question of whether this Link had ever wore chain-mail is up to debate however considering that later on as the Hero's Shade. He was shown wearing armor of some kind and other versions of Link was shown doing the same thing. It is indeed possible. However as this is unconfirmed.

Link is shown having white skin with blondish hair and blue eyes. As there is no official height given for this Link. I will be using the standard height of the normal man as he is stated as being the same height as other hylians and later shown to be true if one takes his Hero's Shade form into account. The measurements that I'll be using for his height is five feet ten inches (5'10") in his adult form, and four feet eleven inches (4'11") in his child form.

Physiology Traits

Enhanced Hylian Physiology: Despite being shown as being a pure-breed Hylian. He is shown being much stronger, durable, and faster reflexively then even the most highly trained Hylian soldiers around even as a child. Performing a number of superhuman feats such as lifting stones weighing anywhere between 250 pounds to nearly a ton as child, reacting and dodging lightning, Fighting armies of creatures who are physically stronger than Hylians, and withstanding the striking force of giants as a child. It is believed that this is due to housing the Spirit of the Hero within him as well as housing the Triforce of Courage however it is unconfirmed.

Superhuman Strength: The Hero of Time is shown to be incredibly strong despite his appearance as either a child or an adult. Appearing to surpass the strength of trained military personnel that makes up Hyrule's army. Even as a child, Link was shown being strong enough to block attacks from massively larger creatures with his shield without much effort. The superhuman striking power of creatures like Queen Gohma and Odolwa easily being enough to level houses with a single strike and yet Link could take the hit and barely lost a foot of ground to such heavy attacks. This was also shown again with his adult self being able to block hit with his shield off of pure strength alone against entities like Bongo Bongo. While at first it appear that he needed the aid of special equipment in order to lift various stones laying about. By the time Majora's Mask takes place. He is shown without this equipment. Being able to dead-lift these stones with little effort. As these stones appear to be about half the height of his child form. Depending on the material these stones are made from. He could be lifting anywhere from 250lbs to just over a ton as a child. Similarly he is shown being able to strike with enough force cut through various types of armor and protection to damage his opponent. In his later life. He was shown creating techniques such as the Jump Strike that creates shockwaves powerful enough to knock foes off their feet or even send them flying back a good distance just by being close to the point of impact. However, perhaps his greatest feat of strength depending on the context in which one views it is being able to withstand blows from Majora's Mask during his battle with the mask entity. This entity being strong enough to bring down the moon off of sheer power alone.

Peak Human Speed: Despite Link's strength. His movement speed appears to be normal. Moving as fast as any other trained Hylian knight may move. The only entity shown to be able to move faster than him being the Running man but then again. He moves faster than a horse, so yeah. Aside from this there isn't really anything to suggest that Link has superhuman speed. However as the scale for how large Hyrule is, tends to change from game to game. It is possible that he does. However as it is unconfirmed, Peak human is a reasonable estimate of his travel speed.

Peak Human Agility: While not superhuman Link is shown having high levels of agility. He was shown being able to back-flip with little issues, quickly sidestep to avoid damage. In Majora's Mask. He was shown having pick up parkour as he was able to flip and vault over steps and large gaps in distances. With this trait. Link is able to move around his foes almost as if he was dancing despite carrying a sword and shield. Metal weapons that were often use in rooted or stationary fighting styles due to size or weight.

Superhuman Reflexes: While not superhumanly fast in terms of speed. Link's reflexes are another matter altogether. Link is shown being able to react and dodge various attacks ranging from sword strikes from train melee opponents capable of overwhelming even the most trained of Hyrule's royal guard to being able to dodge and block lightning at point blank range. Even being able to react and counter invisible and near instantaneous attacks such as like with Bongo Bongo or the Beamos. This level of reaction time is what allowed him to best many foes and even god-like entities such as Majora's Mask. Dark Link who was a copy of Link was bested by the Hero of Time with little effort despite being stated as being the hero's equal.

Enhanced Life-Force: According to the Breath of the Wild game. The wielder of the Master Sword needs to have a strong life-force in order to wield the weapon. While this game is questionable as to which timeline it takes place in as each timeline the weapon is shown to work somewhat differently from one another. Link's life-force is shown to be quite strong. Able to withstand injuries that would kill a normal man. He is shown being able to resist life draining spells and side-effects such as those within the lost woods and Ikana canyon or those from consuming poe spirits. Similarly he had his life-force enhance twice by two different Great Fairies. It is possible that the heart containers he attains from beating a boss may have something to do with as he may be absorbing their life force in order to enhance his own. This; however, is unconfirmed but still possible as he can consume poe spirits to heal himself.

Superhuman Durability: Link, in each of his appearances has demonstrated a high level of durability. Even prior to having his durability enhanced by two different Great Fairies. He was shown tanking hits against vastly larger foes. Survive falls from great heights. Only receiving burns when walking through lava or magma rather than melting into it. Being hit by large volcanic rocks. Being frozen solid. He was shown being stab by bladed weaponry and in some cases taking an extreme amount of lethal damage that would kill a normal person several times over and continue fighting at peak effectiveness without so much as slowing down. The only signs of him taking damage being a grunting noise or in the case of extreme amount of damage being some heavy breathing. These feats among others mentioned in other sections points to a high level of durability. It should be noted that Link isn't invincible, rather that he is far more durable than most entities shown in Hyrule. He can still fall to his injuries should he push himself further than what his body can handle or if he makes a critical mistake in battle after being heavily injured.

Elemental Resistance: The Hero of Time's durability also accounts for more than tanking physical damage. Throughout his journey. He was shown having a high level of elemental resistance from such forces as fire, ice and electricity. He was shown catching on fire and walking through magma while suffering from very few if any minor burns from these instances. The heat of magma being around 700 to 2200 degrees fahrenheit. He can walk through various arctic environments without much in terms of protection aside from the clothes on his back, such as the Zora's Domain which had been turned into a frozen land in the future adult timeline or walking through Snowhead Mountain which was so cold that forges as well as various members of the Goron race were frozen solid. Link has taken electric shocks strong enough to knock him back and got right back up to continue fighting. Even elemental spells seem to have less effect on him than they normally would such as the ice keese. He has survived being flashed frozen and shatter with no signs of lasting damage.

Magic Resistance: Similar to his elemental resistance. Link has shown a high degree of resistance to magical attacks. Being able to withstand energy blast from foes such as Twinrova, Ganondorf, and even from Majora's Mask. Ganondorf in his confrontation with the hero had release a wave of energy that forced Navi back while Link remain unaffected by the wave of energy. He was shown being able to resist and break out of the Redead's magical scream within seconds. This scream being able to paralysis a target to allow for an easy killing. This resistance also allowing him to notice disturbances caused by illusions, While he may not be able to see through them. He is capable of noticing when there is an illusion present. As the hero's shade he was shown being immune to the holy effects of the master sword as well as the effects of the twilight realm.

Curse Resistance: While going hand and hand with Magic Resistance. Curses in media tends to operate on one another rule set most of time. Despite this; however, Link's resistance to curses is quite high as well. Being able to resist the curse within the lost woods as well as Ikana canyon that would normally turn someone into the undead. He has shown the ability to resist the death or injury curses caused by consuming a poe soul. His body is able to rid itself of the Bubble's weapon sealing curse after several seconds. When coming in contact with cursed items. Link appears to be immune to the curses placed on various cursed items.

Holy Resistance: While only shown once. Link appears to be resistant or immune to holy objects as in his Hero's Shade form. When training the Link from Twilight Princess. He was able to take blows from the Master Sword with no signs of injury caused by the holy weapon itself. It is unknown just how powerful Link's resistance to holy attribute items and attacks are. However, if we take into account the Wind Waker game. The Hero of the Winds was able to tank several Light Arrows and continue fighting. These light arrows being able to kill any other foe in a single well aimed arrow. It is possible that his resistance is quite high.

Superhuman Healing Factor: While not really touched upon within the series itself. Link has been shown having a healing factor. He is shown being able to heal from various fatal injuries by simply drinking milk. While it could be argued that the milk has special properties that allows for this. The fact that it isn't as widespread as the red and blue potions, goes against this theory. Similarly Link is shown stopping at various places; should the player chose too, in order to rest. After resting for what is assumed to be a twelve hour nap. Link's health and vitality is shown to be perfect. This points to him having quite a powerful healing factor to be able to heal from his injuries without so much as leaving a scar on him. This may also explain his durability as rather than him tanking hits, he is simply healing fast enough for the injures to not impede him in battle.

Life-Force Absorption: Perhaps, one of Link's darkest natural and/or magical abilities is his ability to absorb life-force. Not much is really known about the limits of this ability as it was mainly used on poe souls. When consuming poe souls, Link either gains health or is hit with a curse that damages him. While this appears to be the extent of this ability without going into speculations. However, it can be theorized that the reason his health increases whenever he defeats a boss enemy or when regular minion enemies drop health is due to this ability itself. That he is absorbing their life-force in order to heal and strengthen himself. However, that is unconfirmed.

Magic Energy: Link's body is capable of producing a from of energy that is magical in nature. This energy allows Link to perform a number of magic spells that he knows as well as fueling various magical weapons and items that run off of said energy.

Superhuman Stamina: Throughout his journey in both Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. Link has display a high level of stamina. Using the time table from Majora's Mask game of 72-hours. Link is capable of operating at peak efficiency for a minimum of just over 72 hours or three days without so much as showing signs of fatigue. This time limit covering a number of battles he had with giant monsters, helping various people, and a number of other events. Similarly during Ocarina of Time. During the beginning as a child, Link is shown being able to fight an unending army of Skulchildren for 12 hours straight as he waited for daylight to occur. On the topic of Ocarina of Time. As it takes several night and day cycles to complete the game. It is possible that the events of the game took place over several weeks to potentially months of him traveling and battling monsters without rest. Also despite having a love for sleeping in. The prolonged lack of sleep doesn't appear to affect his physical abilities.

Absolute Awareness of Surrounding: Link is shown to have a near perfect sense of his surroundings. Able to sense and counter groups of enemies attacking him even from his blind spot. He also seems able to detect enemies that are shrouded in invisibility magic as well as the activation of various magics within the area. He can keep track of fast moving targets and navigate trap filled areas as well despite not being able to see where these traps are placed. His sense of surroundings is so good that he can travel the lost woods despite the magic making it near impossible to do so. The only other people shown being able to do this without suffering any ill effects were the Forest Sage Saria and the Gerudo King Ganondorf.

Skills

Advance Intelligence: While not really touch upon. Link is shown being very intelligent despite being child raise in a forest. Being able to master any weapon he gets a hold of. Solving various puzzles and magic traps. Learning how to play various songs perfectly after hearing it once. However his greatest feat is being able to defeat various armies of monsters and superhuman enemies single-handed without help. He achieve what an army of highly trained hylian soldiers were unable to do. Through this he was able to deduce the attack patterns and the environment advantages and magic of enemies such as Phantom Ganon, Determine the weak point of the Dodongo king and using the magic of Twinrova against herself and having a basic understanding of herbs and mushrooms use for healing. This shows a high level of tactical intelligence and mental processing as well as a high level of understanding of various magics and strategies despite not having experience or training for any of this prior to his journey. This is further expanded on by the fact that he had develop secret skills, one of which the mortal draw was able to bypass the defense of any enemy it hits.

Basic Diplomatic and Trading Skills: It is shown in both games that Link can be quite persuasive when he needs to be. While he does have connections to people in high positions of power such as Zelda and Impa. This doesn't always help him when dealing with those who do not care for those he knows. An example of this being Darunia who simply didn't want to talk to Link no matter what his reasons were. However through the use of music he was able to gain the soon would be sage's help. In majora's Mask he was able to bargain the release and trade of land between several business deku scrubs. Even using these skills to his advantage to gain useful items and weapons for his travels. This skill also help him in attaining the biggoron's sword as well.

Animal communication: Link is shown being able to speak with various animals. Through this he is able to learn of various situations and get help for certain issues if needed. He has shown being able to communicate with monkeys, seahorse, frogs, and he is shown being able to speak with other people who were cursed with an animal or monster form.

Charisma: Link is shown being able to make friends with various people. Through his actions. He is able to inspire many to take action with various events and through his aid. They become allies willing to help him in quest or mission.

Master Wrangler: Link is shown being a master wrangler. Able to tame nearly any horse to perform at their best. He is shown having a strong bond with his horse to the point that even in the manga despite seven years passing the horse came to his aid to fight his shadow self and in the game his horse epona if the player decides to get her stills remembers the song that Malon teaches Link. Even using the other horse that is given as an option. Said horse will still obey Link despite just meeting him. He is also shown being able to shoot various objects despite moving at the speeds that horses are capable of moving at with pinpoint accuracy.

Weapon Master: Link through the Zelda series has been shown being a master of various weapons no matter what incarnation is shown. Oot/MM Link is no exception to this. Link is shown being able to use a number of weapons; be it normal or magical, with expert skills. While preferring the sword and shield combo as his main source of attack and defense. This Link is also shown being able to use other weapons both close and long range despite having no training prior to attaining the weapons. Things such as the Megaton Hammer, Deku Sticks and nuts, Bows, bombs, Hookshots, mask, rocks, claymores, short swords, and even bottles to a surprising degree. The question of just how many weapons he is able to master is up to debate as much of his later years are again unknown currently. However if other games are to be taken as a reference then it's possible that he could master anything he gets a hold of. This may be due to him housing both the Triforce of courage and/or the spirit of the hero as it seems to be a trait that all incarnations of Link has; however, this has yet to be confirm.

Sword and Shield Master: Link is very skill in his swordsmanship. Having develop a unique form of sword fighting that relies on his agility without the need to sacrifice power. Something that is much different from the normal swordsman style of European knights who in history tends to take on foes head on with their swords and shields and were often consider to be impair in their movements due to their full body armor and more like that of a Spartan. However this may be due to either the lack of armor or his stronger physiology. Also while not on the same level of characters like Captain America in terms of skill with his shield. Link is able to use his shield with great skills as well. Turning even a wooden shield into a near impenetrable defense. Even countering a foe and leaving them open for attack. He had even develop the Shield bash at some point allowing him to break the defense stances of armor and shielded enemies as well as reflect normal and magical projectiles back at the shooter as shown in Twilight Princess. It should also be noted that the Hero of Time was shown to be leagues above the Link in Twilight Princess in swordsmanship as well as he was able to defeat the twilight princess's incarnation of Link in a single strike before lecturing him on his lack of skill. It should be noted that Twilight Princess's incarnation of Link had several years of combat training from one of the best swordsmen in the land named Rusl.

Master Marksman: Link is a master marksman. He is able to hit nearly anything with pinpoint accuracy. He was shown being able to use bows, a slingshot, thrown projectiles such as deku nuts and large stones. He was even shown being able to use bombchu with expert skill in a number of cases. Being able to angle them in a way in order to hit their intended target. He was also shown being able to clear the shooting gallery mini-games with some of the highest scores seen without much issue.

Knowledge of Explosives: Shown in both OoT and MM games. Link is shown knowing how to use explosives of different kinds. Often carrying a variety of explosives on hand to use based on the situation that calls for one kind or the other. Carrying things such as bombs, bombchus, and powder kegs on his person.

Knowledge of Sheikah arts: Link is shown having knowledge of various sheikah items such as the mask of truth and lens of truth. Even understanding how the Gossip stones work. It is questionable of just how much he really knows. In the manga while consider not canon, Link was shown being trained by Impa in the way of the Sheikah and later gifted him with his earrings as a sign of him being a true Sheikah adult. Similarly he may have had a hand in the creation of the howling stones as they bear some markings of the Sheikah and are used to create a connection to him via various songs that he appear to have learn in his journey.

Basic to Advance Hand to Hand Combat: While it may not appear to be something he knows either due to game mechanics or simply due to how large many of his foes then to be. Link has shown a degree of skill in hand to hand combat. Through the transformation mask of Deku, Goron, and Zora. Link is given access to their race's respective combat styles. In Majora's Mask 3D remake. When using the Giant's Mask. Rather than using his sword and shield like in the original. He instead chooses to fight with a combination of punching and grappling. It is also possible that due to this ties with the Goron people. Link may be skilled in Goron combat such as sumo-wrestling. Similarly due to his status as the hero. He may have gotten some training in hand to hand combat as well from members of the Hylian army or some other source considering that he had picked up parkour. Similarly other media has shown him knowing some form of hand to hand combat such as Super Smash Bros, Soul Calibur, and even in the manga where he had been trained by Impa in Sheikah combat. However, despite several these sources being non-canon. All of these different medias points to Link having some form of hand to hand combat.

Parkour: Even at a young age. Link was very agile when it came down to moving around. This would make sense considering his combat style. Being able to perform backflips, as well as being able to do landing front rolls in order to safely land after leaping from several tens of feet up in the air. Link would later improve upon these skills at some point between Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. Being able to side-flip, front flip, as well as other techniques such as gainers and various jump techniques in order to allow him to clear larger distances between jumps without losing speed.

Single Target Focus: Link is able to focus his mind on a single target allowing him to better focus his skills when fighting a single foe. This cuts back on the amount of unnecessary movements when facing a potentially powerful foe as well allowing him to more easily spot openings and weakness of his foe as well as being able to lock on to various items that he may need to shoot with his bow and arrows. This state of mind doesn't appear to limit his sense of awareness as he can still keep track of those around him therefore allowing him to dispatch the current foe without needing to worry about being attacked by other potential surrounding enemies or make an accurate shot while in the heat of combat.

Secret Skills: Over the course of his life. Link created a set of techniques that he can use in battle. Each technique allowing him to overcome various disadvantages he was faced with when facing various foes. He would later go on to teach his later incarnation in Twilight princess. While not magic base in design. These attacks are by no means weak and are quite powerful.

Skill Musician: While it could be considered a useless skill at first. Due to the number of songs containing magical effects to them such as calling up storms, teleportation, or changing the flow of time. Link's skills in this department is a big part of what aided him throughout his journey. Link is shown being quite skill at playing the Ocarina, a flute like instrument. Similarly in his other transformations. He was shown being skilled in playing various other instruments such as the drums, trumpet, and a guitar.

Understanding of Herbs and First Aid: Perhaps due to his upbringing growing up in a forest with forest dwelling people or by some other unknown factor. Link has shown knowing the use of various plants around him. Finding Heart shape herbs that can be use for first aid should he require it. Magic seeds to create moving platforms, and the use of nuts and seeds as potential weapons. Aside from this he also knows which mushrooms can be use for red potions as well as an understanding of which potions and poe spirits that can be eaten to help restore his health.

Stealth: Link has shown the ability to sneak around various highly guarded areas undetected. He is shown being able to do this a number of times such as when he went into the Gerudo fortress, The deku scrub palace, the pirate camp, and passed hordes of Redead. Being able to retrieve and rescue various objects and people without getting caught. His skills were good enough that the Gerudo Women had accepted him as one of their own.

Expert Tracker and Treasure Hunter: While not often talk about by the fan-base. Link is in fact an expert tracker. He is shown being able to track down various targets such as monkeys through dense forest, follow ghost through mazes, Finding missing people such as the zora princess Ruto and the carpenters that were locked up in the Gerudo fortress. Finding valuables such as the zora eggs in the pirate camp in Majora's Mask. He is also able to find various other items such as seal weapons, treasure such as gems, and other items be it magical or not such as monsters like Gohma who was inside the Great Deku Tree.

Advance Spell-Caster: This incarnation of Link is one of the few incarnations that is capable of using magic. Link upon meeting the Great Fairies of both Hyrule and Termina, would have his magic power unlocked and strengthen to a degree. He would come to learn various spells from these entities as well as other individuals and records. While most of what we know about his abilities comes from the Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask games. He did in fact get stronger as shown in Twilight Princess. The Hero's Shade throughout his sections of the game had demonstrated a number of powers that weren't shown in prior installments of Hero of Time's journey. Several of these abilities includes, creation of up to 3 extra clones, firing energy projectiles from his sword, time manipulation on a grand scale such as stopping time. Control over a personal domain, a wolf transformation and a few others. Based on this. It shows that Link did continue to improve and train in his magic arts. The full extent of his knowledge is unknown however. So it is possible that he may know more than what is shown or that this may have been the full extent of his power.

Secret Skills

A number of specialized skills that were developed by the Hero of Time. Allowing him to bypass or counter various strengths that his opponent has that may have proven difficult to do so otherwise.

Ending Blow: An attack that ensures the death of the target. When enemy is knock down on their back. Link jumps up into the air and brings down the tip of his sword into the central weak point of the enemy's chest area. Attack is strong enough to slice through armor foes. It is questionable as too why this move was created. However, considering that it was needed in order to fully defeat and kill Ganondorf who prior to the events of Twilight Princess was shown taking another powerful magic sword to the chest and healing mere moments later. It is possible that Link develop this skill to ensure the lack of a prolonged battle against such foes.

Shield Attack: A defensive counter that knocks any foe; armored, shielded, or unarmored off balance to create an opening for an attack. It is able to even reflect projectiles such as arrows and even energy projectiles back to sender. The question as to how Link develop this techniques is up to debate. However it mostly took inspiration from the design of the mirror shield.

Back Slice: An attack that allows Link to circle around a foe to attack from their blind spot. Link rolls to the side and around the attack before quickly getting his footing and attacking the foe's unguarded back. When done, Link can choose to attack various weak-points in armor that their foes carried. Weakening and breaking their defense. Allowing for a potentially easier fight.

Helm Splitter: An attack in which Link leaps into the air and attacks a foe's head, shoulders, and upper back. The attack is strong enough to slice through a metal helmet from the head of his attacker. Removing most forms of head-gear used for protection.

Mortal Draw: A counterattack that Link created during his life. Link when in the presence of an enemy will keep his guard down, giving his foes a false sense of having an easy win. Just as a foe is about to attack, Link will quickly spin, grabbing his sword and attacking his attacker. The attack is strong enough to slice through armor foes. Connected strikes are usually fatal; however, strong enough foes can still survive said attack but will still be greatly weaken from the strike itself.

Jump Strike: An enhanced version of the Jump attack technique. Link will jump into the air holding his sword with both hands and slam the ground, Creating a shock-wave that damages and knocks enemies flying while knocking larger foes off balance. It can be quickly chain with the ending blow.

Great Spin: An enhanced version of the spin attack. When Link is in good health. He can charge his blade before spinning around at high speed, creating a whirlwind of sharp air that cuts the opponent. Unlike other variations of this skill learned by other version of Link. Rather than a continuous spin that would throw the user off balance. This version is a single almost instant spin with greater range than the normal variation and far greater power allowing Link to knock back far larger foes or killing weaker enemies while creating breathing space at the same time.

Sword Techniques

Link is a skill fighter having several powerful attacking techniques that he can use at a moments notice. Aside from the common slash or thrust. Link has more powerful techniques that he can use such as the jump attack and the spin attack. These appear to be attacks that are innate to each incarnation of Link. Similarly these attacks would later be improved upon and become part of his secret skills set.

Jump Attack: Link leaps and lunges forward bringing his sword down on the opponent. This results in high damage output however is only effective against single targets.

Spin Attack: Link's signature AOE or area of effect attack. Link will quickly spin around with his sword extended hitting all enemies within range. It is effective against groups or when surrounded by enemies. Even doing a lot of damage to a single foe due to the built up momentum of the attack.

Magic

As mentioned above. Link is a Spell-Caster. A person who uses magic but isn't consider a mage, wizard, warlock or whatever. His magic is more geared towards combat and isn't quite as type specialize as other magic users would be. Similarly the Hero of Time is one of the few incarnations of Link capable of using magic without the aid of various magic items or objects. Here is a list of all magic abilities that he was shown to have.

Dimensional Storage: A trademark of nearly all versions of Link is his Hammer Space. He is shown being able to hold a number of objects. Swords, shields, Bows, Bombs, A hammer, various magic clothes, boots, gauntlets, and other items. Even living items such as cuccos. However it is questionable as to just how much he can store in his hammer space as Link is shown being able to hold more items in his hammer space in Majora's Mask then he could in Ocarina of time even if you include both his adult and child weapon sets in said game. This could mean two possible things. Either one, His hammer space magic is connected to his experience either through practicing said magic or through age. It will be able to hold more the better he gets with it. The second possibility is that Link may simply have no real reason to carry around everything he sees. An example that points to one of these options being the Giant knife and biggoron's sword. After doing the side-quest to obtain the biggoron's sword. Link loses the Giant Knife. This points to both theories being correct to some degree as no matter which reason option one picks. Link would in fact get rid of the giant knife in favor of the far stronger and vastly superior biggoron's sword as it serves more of use for him then the weaker giant knife would and it didn't run the risk of breaking every few swings. The same can be said for the deku shield as in Majora's mask he is seen carrying the hero's shield and would later seemingly drop it in favor of Majora's Mask version of the Mirror Shield. Where in the case of the Hylian shield was stated to be indestructible due to it being forge by the lightning dragon Lanayru as was shown being strong enough to withstand blows from god level entities such as Demise without so much as a paint scratch. This would mean that the Hylian shield guarantee a form of absolute defense in the case should he lose the mirror shield he attain in the spirit temple either by it being taken away or by the off chance that it was shattered. The latter of which has yet to happen officially. Interesting Link is skill enough to equip various items and equipment at a moment's notice allowing for smooth transition in combat.

Limited Precognition: Link during the beginning of Ocarina of Time was shown having dreams of the future in which he see Zelda trying to escape from Ganondorf. It is unclear if he had other visions or not.

Duplication/ Cloning: First seen in Twilight Princess. Link was shown being able to create three extra copies of himself for combat. Allowing for four Links to be present for combat at any given time. While not an original ability as it was seen in other games such as four swords. This marks the first time that Link was able to use this ability via his own power and not through the use of magical items and weapons such as the Four Swords sword. While he is shown being able to create three extra copies. It is possible that he could create more then three as at the time he was shown using this power, he was training the current Link of the Twilight Princess game and may not have felt it necessary to produce more at the time.

Energy Channeling: Upon having his magic power unlock and increase. by the Great Fairies found in both Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. Link was shown being somewhat unskilled in using the magic. Only being able to enhance the striking power and range of his sword when using the spin attack. It is also possible that this ability help aided him in learning other weapon based spells such as the elemental arrows that he gets later on in his journey. He is shown being able to empower his sword up to two stages of enhance power when doing a spin attack which would later be dubbed the Magic Spin Attack.

Magic Spin Attack (Blue Stage): By infusing magic energy into his sword. The sword gains a blue coat that upon release deal higher damage with increase range. It appears that it doesn't matter what kind of sword he is using for this technique as he can perform it with longswords, claymores, and short swords.

Magic Spin Attack (Red Stage): This stage is achieved by Link infusing as much energy into his sword as possible. Either as much as the weapon can hold or as much as he can safely control. The energy coat on the blade turns from blue to a reddish-yellow coat dealing several times more damage than his normal attack and nearly doubling the striking range of his weapon.

Energy Projectiles: Again as seen in Twilight Princess. Link is shown having the ability to fire energy projectiles from his sword. Whether or not he can do this without the aid of his sword is unknown. This power was perhaps based on the Sword beam powers that many of the 2D Zelda games had. However this Link was never shown being able to use the sword beams unlike other incarnations shown in various 2D Zelda games. The only time he was shown being able to do this was when using the fierce deity's mask. It is possible that upon seeing how useful such as skill was. Link had at some point taken some of his time to develop and master his own version of the attack. The orb fire is shown having quite a bit of power able to hurt the current incarnation of Link that he teaches the shield bash to. It is also quite large as well.

Fire Arrows: Link first learns the fire arrow spell at Lake Hylia and again in Majora's Mask at Snowhead temple. Base on what is shown. It appears that it is in fact a spell as it drains magic in order to use as it relies on the fact that Link must have arrows in his quiver as well as magic energy to channel for each use. In order to use this spell. Link first charges energy into arrow giving the arrow a reddish-orange aura. Upon firing the arrow and it making contact with it's target. The arrow will explode, engulfing the target in a blanket of fire on top of setting said target on fire for a short time. It can be used to melt most forms of ice however the fire element is ineffective against water type environments and enemies.

Ice Arrows: Similar to the Fire arrow in which Link must charge energy into arrow tip, forming a blue aura that upon contact will engulf the target in a blanket of incredibly cold air near sub-zero temperatures, freezing solid most enemies and objects. It is obtain in Ocarina of time by completing the Gerudo training course and again in Majora's Mask in the Great Bay Temple.

Light Arrows: Unlike the two arrow spells mentioned above. This arrow damages the enemies with condensed light magic which makes it very effective against dark magic users and enemies. Able to kill nearly any foe in one to two hits. In some cases it can convert an enemy into a crystallize gem state that can be used as a form of money. To use this arrow. Link must again charge his arrow with magic, forming a yellow aura on it. Upon contact, It blankets the enemy in intense light before killing them. It is obtain in Ocarina of Time by Zelda and again in Majora's Mask in the Stone Tower Temple. It is hard to say if there is any difference between the two versions he learns. As the light arrows spell learn from Zelda could be considered stronger due to her connection to the goddess Hylia compared to the one gained at Stone Tower Temple. However that is just a theory.

Din's Fire: A unique spell that Link learns from the Great Fairies in Ocarina of time. In order to use this magic. Link slams his left fist into the ground creating a dome of intense fire before said dome erupts outwards engulfing an entire room. The fire is strong enough to kill most low to mid level enemies with one cast. Caution is advised as certain enemies will become stronger when hit by the spell such as Keese

Nayru's Love: A unique spell that Link learns from the Great fairies. Link brings up both hands into the air creating a blue orb before bringing it down to his feet. The energy would then engulf Link in a blue force field that will protect him from all forms of damage making him nearly unkillable so long as he has magic energy to fuel this spell. However, he could still be knocked back by strong blows or forces.

Farore's Wind: A unique magic that Link learns from the Great fairies. Link brings up his hands creating a green ball of energy that acts as a wrap point. Upon using it again Link can return to the wrap point. A third use of the spell will cancel last warp point. This is helpful as it gets Link out of a bind if he needs to make a quick escape.

Wolf transformation: Appearing in Twilight Princess. Link is shown being able to transform into a golden wolf. When he had learned this ability is unknown. Only that he can do so freely. While in this form. Link has all the normal traits of a wolf with many of his enhanced Hylian traits being added on such as strength, reaction speed and durability.

Superhuman Senses (Wolf Form): As a wolf, Link's senses are enhanced to the level of a wolf. An animal whose sense of smell and hearing is far above that of a normal human. While an argument could be made that it could be greater. It is unconfirmed so scaling to what occurred with Twilight Princess Link would be the best bet.

Dimension Travel/ Planeswalking: Surprisingly despite being dead. Link is able to transverse between different planes of existence. From the living world to his own astral plane to even the twilight world. He is also able to bring others into whichever plane of existences he wants as well. This was again shown in Twilight princess. This may in fact be due to the fact that he had often travel between time periods in Ocarina of Time game and between worlds in Majora's Mask sequel.

Personal Domain (Ghostly Ether): Interestingly Link had at some point gain an astral plane of his own that is refer to as the Ghostly Ether. It is unknown when he had attain this power of his as the conditions for attaining this power was never explore in the games. However considering that the realm is consider an astral plane, and astral planes are generally consider to be a type of spirit world. It can be assume that he had attain this realm after his death. However the possibility of him gaining this realm during his life time is also possible as well as he is shown being able to freely travel between one realm of existence to another as well as bringing others in and out of it at will. This power may in fact be his strongest form of magic to date as well due to several factors. Upon entering the realm, Twilight magic is shown to be rendered void even powerful magical twilight magic such as the shadow crystal was rendered powerless in this plane of existence as Twilight Princess's Link was reverted back to his human form despite it being said that the crystal's magic could only be reversed by the master sword. Another thing being the fact that Link seems to be able to alter the appearance of the realm to match various locations in Hyrule. Another thing to point out is the fact that the master sword seems to be unable to hurt him. However this may be due to a number of other factors such as the fact that he too was a wielder of the master sword or the fact that he may not be evil. However despite this, it doesn't explain why Link is uninjured during the training. Even telling his descendant to attack him with all he has as he trains him. With much of the blade's power and history shrouded in mystery. It is questionable as to how Link would know that the blade would not hurt him as it could have very easily damage or even destroy his spirit form had events played out differently.

Spirit Form: While this may not be consider magic to some. Many forms of media when dealing with supernatural powers. Spirit forms are often considered magical in origin for some reason. While in his spirit form. He has what is dub as a spirit sword and shield. What powers these weapons have is unknown. He also appears to be grab in a set of armor. What this armor does is currently unknown. The only thing we know is that despite being dead. Link is able to leave and return the astral plane at will as well as being immune to damage from normal and holy weapons in this form. What other abilities this form grants Link is unknown at the moment.

Time Magic: The first instance of Link's time magic appear during the events of Ocarina of time upon learning the sun song to change night to day. Later on during the events of Majora's Mask, Link would later learn how to use the song of time to alter the flow of time itself. However as shown in Twilight Princess. Link is shown having master an advance form of Time magic. He is able to stop the flow of time within any of worlds shown within the game. Such as the living world, and the twilight world. He is able to train the current incarnation of Link in Twilight Princess a number of skills and return him back to the world he came from with no indication of time passing. This ability was also shown being able to affect the life forms within the area as it freezes Twilight Princess Link's horse as well as the monsters both the boklins and the Twilight beast in place and even the current incarnation's shadow from what I was able to see. It even appears that Midna is unaware of these events happening as well as she makes no comment on it, however this could be due to either her being affected or the Hero of time allowing her to be aware of his actions.. It should go without saying due to Link's status as the Hero of Time. Link would have learn some type of time magic in one form or another aside from simple song especially considering his connection to the Goddess of Time.

Song Magic: As mentioned earlier. Link knows Song Magic. A form of magic that takes effect with the use of music. Link was taught by various people various songs that can affect the very world around him. Such as altering the flow of time, Creating storms, Restoring damaged areas or effects, and even healing and breaking curses and passing souls on the after life. Read the next section for list of Link's songs.

Other Unknown Powers: It is should be noted that due to the lack of information on Link during his later years. There may be a number of other magic abilities that he could have gain or learned. He has shown limited knowledge of magic and the sheikah arts through the creation of the howling stones as well as having created or learn a number of spells that weren't shown in OoT and MM games. It is also hinted in Twilight Princess that the Hero of time Link and Twilight princess Link may both share a portion of the power of past heroes or that Hero of time Link may be able to pass on his power to later incarnations in some form. It should be noted that as a holder of the Triforce of Courage. Link may also has access to special magic that is only granted to him by the relic. Also the Spirit of the Hero may also provide Link with additional powers as well. As shown in Majora's Mask he was also granted time magic from the Goddess of Time. However any powers that Link could have gain from from the Goddess of Time, the Triforce, the Spirit of the hero or past Heroes is purely speculation as nothing has been confirm aside from what is official information.

Song Magic

Link has shown to have a number of songs that he learned over the course of his journey containing various effects that he can use to his advantage. The songs that he has been shown to know are as follows...

Song of Time: A song that allows Link to alter the flow of time depending on how it's play as well as gain entrance to the temple of time. It should be noted that the various effects of this song was granted to him by the Goddess of Time. Versions of this song includes...

- Song of Time: Can reverse time up to three days forming a temporal loop.

- Song of Double Time: Fast forwards time up to half a day or to any hour of said day.

-Inverted Song of Time: Slows time down up to 50 percent. Can be play again to cancel effect. It should be noted that due to the slowing of time. Link's speed as seen by others increases dramatically. If time is being slowed down by 50%. Link is moving nearly 80 percent of the speed of light in order to compensate for the time dilation effect.

Epona's Song: A song use to call forth his horse Epona. The song appears to contain magic properties as it is able to call epona from nearly any location minus dungeons and situations in which prevents the horse from appearing to him. It should be noted that the ocarina is not a loud instrument and has a relatively short distance in which it's sound travels. This is even commented on by the trap monkey in the Deku palace.

Song of Storms: Summons a powerful thunderstorms that can dispel droughts and heal curses and curse individuals. Power of storm is shown be around low level Category one or two hurricane type storms. Storm comes complete with lightning.

Sun's Song: Can change the time of day from nighttime to daytime and vice versa. Powerful enough to paralyze the undead.

Saria's Song: Allows Link to speak with Saria at any given moment for advice or comfort.

Zelda's Lullaby: Use to unlock various magic seals created by the royal family.

Scarecrow's Song: An original song use to gain the help of the scarecrow race of people. Use to help provide grappling points to transverse various distances. Also holds magical properties for the same reasons as epona's song.

Song of Healing: Use to heal tormented souls and allowing them to transverse into the afterlife. Their remaining sorrow if great enough will be transformed into a mask. Can be used to heal small structures such as sign post.

Elegy of Emptiness: Use to create empty shells or statues of himself. Can provide a decoy if used correctly. This may be where Link's duplication power came from as it is hinted that it could create clones as the ikana king mentions that if Link wishes to complete Stone Tower Temple that he would need help doing it. This has yet to be confirmed.

Goron's Lullaby: A magical song that puts its listeners to sleep. Seems to work on most lifeforms.

Sonata of Awakening: A magical song that awakens its listeners from slumber and breaks them from rage inducing emotions. Also use to raise the woodfall temple from the swamp.

New Wave Bossa Nova: Enhances the singing voices of its listeners and calls forth a giant turtle in the ocean.

Oath to Order: Calls forth the deities known as the Four Giants of Termina. However they can ignore the call if they choose to do so.

Warping songs: A series of songs designed to teleport Link to various locations that are specific to each song

-Song of Soaring: A song that allows Link to warp to various locations that has a stone owl statue.

-Temple warping songs: These are songs which warps Link to the entrance of the six sage's temples. They are as follows. Minuet of Forest, Bolero of Fire, Serenade of Water, Requiem of Spirit, Nocturne of Shadow, Prelude of Light.

Divinities and Blessings

Before continuing the rest of this chapter. I feel that there are a few things that must be addressed as it may or may not affect the outcome of this battle or other potential battles to come involving this incarnation of Link.

As many knows. Link is in possession of certain items or blessings that have varying effects on him. Most of which is currently unknown. This section is dedicated to explaining these features to the best of my ability. So with that said. Let's continue.

The Spirit of the Hero: Not much is truly known about the spirit of the hero. It is believed that the skills in weaponry and combat tactics that each incarnation of Link shows is due to this spirit bonding with them as its new host. Others believe it to be the spirit of the first hero chosen as Hylia's champion who upon his death was cursed or blessed by the goddess to continue reincarnating into future host much like the Avatar from the series Avatar the Last Airbender as mentioned in the Skyward Sword manga. The Skyward Sword game mentions it as being the spirit of the Hero of the Skies that forms the spirit due to a curse created by Demon King Demise. The Light spirits of the Twilight Princess game mentions the spirit being an entity created by multiple gods that was given to an individual of their choosing to fight some great evil. There are other descriptions as well but many of these; however, are questioned due to their accuracy in lore or due to their canon status. There are a few things that are granted to those holding the Spirit of the Hero

-Power of Past Heroes: Mention by the light spirits of Twilight Princess. It is hinted that Link may hold some sort of power possessed by past heroes and that he may be capable of passing down this power to the next heir to inherit the Spirit of the Hero. Despite some theories on what this power could be. Nothing has been confirmed.

-Unbreakable Will: All those possessing the Spirit of the Hero have shown an unbreakable will. The ability to overcome great fear in the face of overwhelming force. It is unknown how this power affects the person in question. However, it could be assumed that the spirit pushes away the individual's fear in order to allow the user a clear mind when in combat without fear of one's mind breaking down during the middle of combat. Similarly it protects them against various harmful mind altering forces. This may explain why Link could face such overwhelming odds and come out on top. Even when the moon was falling on Termina. Link was shown being the only one not panicking at the event as he went off to fight Majora. He is shown being able to use various curse items without losing himself as their curse either have no effect or simply aren't powerful enough to control and break him such the mask of truth or the Fierce Deity's Mask. Similarly it appears to lower the effects of fear that appear during the aftermath of an event. Keeping Link from losing himself after viewing the results of an event that went poorly.

Triforce of Courage: As the Holder of the Triforce of Courage. Link is granted a number of mystical traits. The artifact itself appears to grant Link a heightened degree of protection from dark energies such as those found in the Twilight Realm or those produced by Ganondorf. Similarly it's divine aura was enough to stun or potentially hurt the Twilight Beast that try to harm the Twilight Princess incarnation of Link. This is likely due to its nature in repealing dark forces.

However the question of what this object seems to protect Link from is up to debate. Similarly his possession of the object is in question as well as sources appear to be confused on whether or not he still has it. As mention it protected a later incarnation from being attacked by dark creatures and even granted that incarnation a wolf form. However it did nothing when this Link was turned into a Deku Scrub by Majora.

Also much like the other holders of the Triforce. Link is able to access special magic and abilities unique only to his piece. What these powers are, are currently unknown.

This relic also appears to have a few defense measures. For one should the triforce as a whole is threaten by a dark or evil entity. The triforce of Courage will seek out the one most suited to defeat said evil most often Link. Second if the Triforce of Courage deems it's wielder to be unsuited to the ideals of a hero. It will shatter preventing its power from being used until another worthy successor is able to find it and return it to its original form.

Connection to Farore: Much like the other holders of the Triforce. Link has a connection to the Goddess that created his portion of the Triforce, the Triforce of Courage. What abilities and blessings this connection gives Link is currently unknown.

Hylia's Blessing: Due to housing the Spirit of the Hero. Link has a connection to the Goddess Hylia. Not much is known about this connection or blessing aside from the fact that it allows Link to use the full combat power of the Master Sword.

The Goddess of Time's Blessing and Protection: For reasons unknown. The Goddess of Time aids Link in allowing him to use the song of time to enter a temporal loop in Majora's mask in order to free the Four Giants. Zelda also mentions that the Goddess of Time is protecting Link prior to his journey in Majora's Mask and that playing the song of time acts as a call for aid to the goddess. The reason for this is never stated; however, it can be assume that she may have been protecting the boy even during the events of Ocarina of Time. A potential example of this being the seven year slumber Link was in after pulling the Master Sword. As it was claim that he was too young to claim to the title of Hero of time he was put to rest when other incarnations near the same age were able to pull the sword out without any issues. However this is just guessing and the only thing that has been confirm is that the goddess is indeed protecting him and granting him various time manipulation powers. Currently this incarnation of Link appears to be one of the few if only incarnation to have a Deity outside of Hylia and the Three Golden Goddesses willing to protect and aid him.

The Four Giants' Blessing: While there isn't much here concerning this blessing. The Four Giants have agreed to aid Link in times of dire need and if they so choose to do so. Giving their word in the form of the song Oath to Order

Great Fairies' Blessings: Throughout both Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. Link meets several Great Fairies during his journey. He was given a blessing from each of them such as the Great Fairy's Sword, stronger magic power, and even enhanced vitality and durability. These along with various spells had help aid the hero in his battle against great evil.

Weapons and Gear

Like all fiction. A hero is not without his gear. For every great evil a hero must armed himself to face and overcome it. This section will go over all items and weapons that will serve as part of his combat gear. All items that don't serve a purpose in battle will not be included for this reason. Let's begin.

Kokiri Tunic: Clothes are often used to tell one person appear from another. Often times a hero is remembered by the clothing he wears as people describe the appearance of the one who saves them. With that said. Link's Kokiri Tunic was the standard clothing of the Kokiri Children. It serves no other function aside from being his normal dress wear.

Goron Tunic: A red color tunic that grants Link higher resistance to Fire and heat base damage. It allows him to travel within the heart of a volcano without suffering from the extreme pressures, heat and poisonous volcanic fumes. However more extreme heats can still over power the protection that this tunic offers.

Zora Tunic: A blue color tunic that allows Link to breathe underwater without the need to come up for air. Aside from this it serves no other purpose aside from making an escape through water.

Kokiri Boots: Link's standard footwear providing basic foot protection. Appears to be made out of a leather like material. (AN: must have some good arch support for the amount of traveling he does.)

Iron Boots: Heavy boots made of iron or some other heavy metal that allows Link to move around underwater without issues. Also protects Link from strong wind currents and keeps him anchor to the ground allowing him to better face off against larger and stronger humanoid foes.

Hover Boots: Traction-less boots that creates a solid ground of energy for link to walk on. Allowing him to walk over water, quicksand and due to platforms created under his feet. Sinking platforms are unaffected by his weight. However due to the unique properties of the boots. Link will slide across the ground when gaining enough momentum. Also energy platforms will only last a short time making it dangerous if Link is over large heights or dangerous surfaces.

Gauntlets: Leather gauntlets that Link wears as an adult. Aside from general defensive uses of standard gauntlets. It provides no other function.

Goron's Bracelet: A bracelet gifted to him by the Gorons of death mountain. It increases Link's strength around two to three times his normal amount or roughly the same amount he would have as an adult or what he is seen having during Majora's Mask.

Silver Gauntlets: Magic gauntlets with silver color plates and a red jewel. These gauntlets grant Link Superhuman strength enough to lift large gray rocks and throw them with little effort. He is shown being able to throw them with enough force that they shatter on impact.

Gold Gauntlets: Magic gauntlets that grants Link an extreme boost in strength. With these gauntlets Link is able to Lift large towers of granite and throw them several hundreds of feet with enough force causing them to shatter upon impact. Calculations for this boost in strength ranges well above 300 tons. Death battle listed these gauntlets strength boost to be well over 1000 tons. I do agree with this as their math for the most part tends to be accurate most of the time as well as considering the fact Link isn't only lifting these columns but throwing them several tens to hundreds of feet with enough force that they shatter upon impact with whatever it is they hit. Showing a large amount of strength being needed to perform this feat.

Lens of Truth: A strange object that allows Link to see and detect illusions within the area. While shown as something he holds. Due to the unrealistic view of Link holding this item in front of his face while using both his shield and sword. It is more likely that Link channels magic into this item while it is on his person such as his belt, which then allows the magic properties of the item to enhance his eyes.

Deku Shield: A shield made from the bark of the Great Deku Tree. It is incredibly powerful able to withstand blows from powerful foes such as the tail strikes from dodongos. However due to being made of wood. It can be set on fire and lost.

Hero Shield: A shield made of sturdy metal. Similar in appearance to the Hylian's Shield. It is very strong and well made. It is drop in favor of the Ikana Mirror Shield.

Hylian Shield: An indestructible Shield forge by the Lightning Dragon Lanayru. Its design is strong enough to withstand blows from god like entities such as Demise without breaking.

Spirit Temple Mirror Shield: A powerful Shield that can reflect sunlight and various types of magic such as fire, ice and energy. It can also store said magic within itself to reflect back at the caster after gaining enough of a charge. It can also destroy certain projectiles such as rocks and deku nuts. It is red and light blue in design with the gerudo symbol on it.

Ikana Mirror Shield: A mirror shield found in the Ikana castle. Design with what appears to be a face in agony. It serves the same function as the Hero's shield. However it appears much more sturdy and can reflect light into a sort of laser able to kill undead enemies such as redead and floormasters.

Kokiri Sword: A short sword Link acquires from the forest in which he grew up from. While a sharp blade and longer then most daggers. It lacks the range and weight of most normal swords. Putting Link at a disadvantage against foes with heavier blades during clashes or against foes with longer reach then him. It is the weakest of all his swords. It is later upgraded into the Gilded Sword.

Gilded Sword: This is the kokiri sword reforge by the mountain smithy. Using a combination of gold dust and their own forging methods. The sword appears to be the average length of normal long swords. Nearly three times the cutting power of the Kokiri sword. Unbreakable and it appears to be immune to the effects of time displacement.

Biggoron's Sword: A claymore size sword forged by a blacksmith known as the Biggoron. An incredibly strong sword that has a longer range than many of Link's other swords. Its blade also appears to be unbreakable. Blade can be infused with his own magic to use magic spin attack.

Great Fairy Sword: A sword of great power given to Link by the great fairy of kindness in Termina. Link's second strongest sword. Much about the blade isn't known aside from the fact that it was created by the great fairies. It seems to be immune to the effects of weapon sealing curses. Aside from this nothing else is known.

Spirit Sword and Shield: A sword and shield that appears on Link's spirit form. What powers they have are currently unknown. However it appears Link can use them to channel energy projectiles through them.

Master Sword: One of the strongest weapons in Link's possession. The blade of evil's bane was forge by the goddess Hylia and blessed by the Goddesses of the triforce. Unbreakable by normal means. The blade is able to reflect magic energy back at Link's foes. Is shown able to cut or disable barriers. Due to the magic properties of this weapon. It is one of the few weapons that can counter light magic in the Legend of Zelda series. It's holy properties allows this blade to greatly damage demonic entities and negate dark magic. Is shown being able to absorb a god like entity such as Demise or sealing people such as Ganondorf into stone.

The blade is able to transport Link into the sacred realm and allows him to travel back and forth through time up to seven years. Secondly similar to other holy or sentient weapons in fictional media. The master has very selected conditions for its uses. Only those who are pure of heart and strong of body may lift the sword, making it nearly impossible for an evil individual or those tainted by dark influences to touch said weapon even when possessing extreme power such as what is granted to Ganondorf from the triforce of power.

Other powers that the master sword grants Link are the sword beams, Skyward Strike, and Lightning Infused Skyward Strike. Dowsing, and a lack of activity from the sword's spirit Fi. Sadly many of these powers have never really been seen being used by Link. So it is questionable if he can use these abilities of the sword or not.

Ocarina of Time: A magical flute given to Link by the heir of the royal family, Zelda. It holds great power and is hinted to be blessed by the goddess of time. This item is used to channel the effects of his song magic.

Hero's Bow: A bow that Link obtains in Termina. Link uses it with his elemental arrow magic to defeat enemies. Link has also shown to be accurate with the bow. He can hit various targets from a distance. It packs enough kinetic energy upon impact that it rivals most sword attacks. Quiver can hold up to 100 arrows at a time. Due to obtaining two large quivers. Link can hold up to 200 arrows

Fairy Bow: A bow that Link obtains in the forest temple. Basically the same as the Hero's Bow. Quiver can hold up to 100 arrows at a time. Due to obtaining two large quivers. Link can hold up to 200 arrows

Fairy Slingshot: A weapon Link gains from inside of the Deku Tree. Link uses Deku seeds as the ammunition. Link uses this in place of his bow and arrow during the beginning of his journey. Link carries a seed bag that holds up to 50 seeds at a time. Each shot appears to pack enough force to damage strong foes such as redead, skulltula, and others. In fact it is shown being able to hurt Deku babas where slingshots from other incarnations were unable to damage them aside from stunning them upon contact. This shows the quality of which the weapon was made.

It can be use to carry a flame to various locations and cause extra damage to foes. However strong impacts or intense heat will cause them to burn up or break. Link can carry 30 of these sticks.

Megaton Hammer: A legendary hammer use by a hero in Goron legend. It is a heavy hammer that Link uses to fight his foes. He can break large stones and even granite like boulders with it. It is incredibly heavy and lack range. However its power is enough to damage even dragons.

She seems to have a bond with Link through Epona's Song. On Epona Link is able to perform archery on horseback.

Magic Bottles x11: Through both Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. Link collected a number of magic bottles. These bottles are shown to be nearly indestructible and seems able to warp the spacial make up of items place inside. They are shown being used to hold a number of items from potions to fire to even living objects such as the Deku Princess. Link had obtain a total of ten to eleven bottles between both games. Depending if you go by Majora's Mask Game or the 3DS version of it.

The Following items within each bottle that will be use in future fights will be the following…

Red Potion x4: Red potions are enhanced healing items that restores and heals various severe injuries in a short time.

Green Potion x2: Green potions is use to restore Link's Magical energy. Allowing Link the ability to use his stronger magic in a moment of needed so long as he has these potions to restore his magic power

Blue Potion x3: Blue potions are used to restore both Link's health and magical energy. It is much more potent then either the red or green potions. However due to the expensive price of the potion. It is tough to acquire large amounts of said potions.

Spring Water x1: Water from a hot spring that is used to rapidly grow magic beans. Also useful for rehydration.

Chateau Romani x1: A famous milk drink from Termina. It contains magical properties that restores Link's Health and grants Link a near limitless amount of magical energy for three days straight.

Magic Masks

Link during his journey in Termina was able to gain a number of magical mask that help him through his adventure. As many of the mask serve no real purpose aside from completing certain side-quest or allowing easier passage through certain areas. I will only be listing the mask that serves any real combat potential. With that said let's begin.

Bomb Mask: A mask that is worn by Link. It is basically a bomb strap to his face. It is useful against that are close to him or have a hold of him. Can be use to destroy certain boulders and stones.

Stone Mask: A mask that when worn by Link makes him invisible to nearly everyone and everything around him. It seems only those who have advanced senses or strong magic detection can see him.

All-Night Mask: A mask that forces Link to remain awake no matter how bored he is. Can be useful in case of attaining serious injuries that may cause Link to pass out and potentially die. This makes it so he can operate even when his body is pass its natural limits in order to escape or to continue attacking.

Keaton Mask: A mask use to summon Keaton foxes. How useful this is depends on the relationship of link to the keaton foxes.

Mask of Scent: Enhances Link's sense of smell.

Captain's Hat: A mask that allows Link to command the undead such as skulchildren. Cause Redead to dance uncontrollably.

Gibdo Mask: A mask that makes Link recognize as an undead. Allows him to walk among the undead unharmed and speak with them. Seems to attract ancient fish.

Bremen Mask: Allows Link to control animals and the undead through the power of music. Can even speed up animal growth rate.

Bunny Hood: Increases Link's speed and agility by several times his normal running speed giving him superhuman speed. He can move even faster when using the song of inverted time.

Mask of Truth: Allows Link to read the minds of animals and speak to gossip stones.

Transformations Mask

Link has a number of magic mask. However he also has a number of special mask that grants him new forms in which he can better combat his foes. Each of these mask contains their own stats and forms. These masks are as follows.

Deku Mask: This mask transform Link into a unique type of deku scrub. While the smallest of all his forms, base included. This form grants link a number of abilities that he wouldn't have normally.

-Enhanced Deku Scrub Physiology: When wearing the Deku Mask. Link is turn into a Deku Scrub. His body turns from blood and flesh to a wood base material. He is the same height as other Deku Scrubs. It appears Link is stronger than other Deku Scrubs due to being able to take more damage. This may be due to the unique nature of the Deku Scrub form that he takes as this new form doesn't appear to be able to produce deku nuts as others but rather can produce acid and is shown being capable of limited flight and using certain types of flowers as launch pads. It is theorized that this form is the mask holding the spirit of the Deku Butler's son.

-Acidic Bubbles: The Deku Scrub form allows Link to spit out bubble made of some sort of acid damaging enemies hit with it. Similarly Link appears able to fire these projectiles with enough force to stagger enemies hit with it. These bubbles can be charged for extra damage but appear to suffer from a lack of accuracy the longer they are charged.

-Water Hopping: While in this form. Link is capable of hopping across water of all kinds. This ability is limited however. As when he isn't able to keep the momentum up he will fall into the water is unable to escape. Likely due to him being unable to swim in this form.

-Head weapon(Stick): Due to his size and body structure. Link isn't able to use much of his gear. In exchange. Link's head is armed with a sharp stick capable of damaging various heavy armor foes by spinning around.

-Deku Shell: As a Deku Scrub, Link is able to produce a deku shell that protects him from most forms of damage. Even able to withstand blows from Odolwa's sword. However due to it being made of wood. The shell can still catch fire and potentially cripple or kill him while in this form.

-Flower Launchpad: While in this form. Link is capable of burying into certain types of large flowers. Protecting him from harm. Similarly he can uses these flowers as a way to launch himself high into the air damaging enemies that may be standing near or on these flowers.

-Limited Flight and Bomber Tactics: After being launched into the air. Link is able to produce two large flowers that rotates allowing him limited flight. From this height he is able to drop deku nuts on unaware foes, stunning them.

-Deku Pipes: A set of pipes that Link plays when in his Deku form. Allowing him access to his song magic.

Goron Mask: A mask harboring the spirit of Darmani III. This mask transform Link into a Hero-Type Goron. Granting Link all of the abilities of a normal Goron and a few extras only unique to this type of Goron.

-Hero-Goron Physiology: Upon wearing the mask. Link is turned into a Hero-type Goron. Granting Link the powers and abilities of an elite hero-goron in its prime. Similarly due to Darmani III being a hero type of goron. Link is granted additional powers not normally seen by the normal goron people.

-Superhuman Strength: As a Goron, Link is shown having a degree of superhuman strength far above his normal standards. Able to lift large boulders and throw them. The strength of this form being needed in order to lift and move powder kegs which is stated to be too heavy and dangerous for a normal Hylian to lift and used. Link is able to launch himself into the air from a standing position and slam into the ground causing small quakes in the area as well as cracking the ground. Similarly due to his strength in this form. Link tends to fight and defeat enemies with his bare hands. The strength of his punches were stated to rival the strength of the Hylian Goron race's hero using the megaton hammer.

-Superhuman Durability: Unlike other forms that requires a shield or armor to protect them. A Goron's body is its shield. Their hard back being strong enough to withstand heavy blows without them suffering any injury. During battles when knowing they are about to be attack they will either turn their back toward their enemy or curb into a ball. It should be noted that the rest of their body isn't as durable as their back however. They are shown being able to withstand walking through lava without much discomfort as well. As a ball they are able to launch themselves into the air and slam back into the ground causing small quakes and yet suffer from no recoil from doing this.

-Immunity to Undead Curse: As a goron Link is shown to be immune to the undead. Likely due to his tough hide. It is due to this that he can face Redead and similar enemies without taking damage from them.

-Fire Resistance: Gorons are shown having high resistance to complete immunity of fire. Allowing Link to walk through lava, and handle extreme heats without much discomfort.

-Superhuman Speed(Rolling): As a Goron. Link isn't very fast due to their weight. However, gorons are able to curl into a ball and are capable of rolling at superhuman speeds, being able to keep pace with a horse. Due to Link being a Hero-Type Goron. He is able to enhance this form into a spiked form which allows him to move even faster as well as damage enemies that he hits without losing momentum.

-Ground Slam: Link as a Goron is able to launch himself into the air from a standing position while curled into a ball. Upon reaching the apex of his jump he can rocket himself into the ground with enough force that it shakes everything within ten to twenty feet around him as well as cratering and fracturing the ground.

-Spiked Ball Form: As a Hero-Type Goron. Link is able to enhance his ball form with magic. Creating a spiked form of his ball form. This increases Link's rolling speed as well as doing immense damage to foes that he comes across. As he rolls he also produces a fire aura that helps increases his speed and damage output.

-Goron Magic: As a Hero-Type Goron Link has access to a special fire-type magic unique to this Goron type. This magic allows Link to summon fire in order to enhance his melee attacks. Similarly he can coat himself in this fire when rolling in order to increase his speed and transform into his spiked form.

-Goron Fighting Style: Due to the mask's connection to Darmani III. Link has access to his knowledge of Goron combat style. This allows him to fight various large foes with nothing but his fist. He is able to combine his fire magic with his fist to further enhance his damage output as well. Darmani III was stated as being the best in hand to hand combat within the Goron tribe on Snowhead mountain. A series of skills that Link can now use his own self..

-Goron Drums: A set of drums that comes with the Goron transformation. Allowing Link to play various songs as well as using his song magic when he needs it.

Zora Mask: A mask containing the spirit of Mikau a Hero-Type Zora. Upon using this mask Link is transformed into a Hero-Type Zora.

-Unique Zora Physiology: Through the Zora Mask. Link can transform into a Hero-Type Zora. This form grants Link all the normal powers and abilities of the Zora people. Due to being a unique type of Zora. Link has access to magic and skills that it appears only Zoras of this kind is able to access.

-Mikau's Combat Style: It is unknown if Mikau was ever trained in Zora combat. However, his style of combat seems to revolve around being able to quickly move around his foes as well as delivering strong and powerful kicks. Through the mask. Link is granted this ability allowing him to fight various monsters as well using Zora magic unique to Mikau and his zora type.

-Superhuman Strength(Legs): While not as physically strong as his Goron counterpart. Link in this form is shown to have a high level of leg strength. Being able to deal massive damage to foes such as Dodongos, and the mask beast Gyorg. His kicks appear able to stun and stagger larger enemies. Due to being a creature of the sea. His abilities are shown to be at a higher level underwater than on land.

-Underwater Breathing: As a zora, Link doesn't need to come up for air as he can breathe underwater. Making underwater combat and escapes possible. Similarly he is shown to be able to breathe just fine on land as well.

-Superhuman Durability(Water): As a Zora, Link's durability works a bit differently compared to his other forms. While his zora form is stronger than other zoras. When compared to Link and some of his other forms. It is a weaker transformation. However, due to being a creature of the sea. Link is able to withstand the pressure levels found when traveling in the deep areas of the ocean. Allowing him to fight as well as explore areas that he wouldn't normally be able to access had it not been for this form.

-Superhuman Speed(Water): While on land. Link in his zora form moves about as fast as he does if not slightly faster. His speed begins to shine however when in water. In water he is able to move far faster than any normal human. Being able to keep up with the fastest of sea life. He is able to do a dolphin jump by swimming quickly to the surface and launching himself several feet into the air with enough force that it is able to damage enemies near his exit point. He is even capable of boosting his speed with the use of magic. Allowing him to move even faster than normal.

-Double Cutters: In his Zora form. Link is capable of extending the fins on both forearms into harden blades. Allowing for better striking power. Similarly they are strong enough to withstand blows from large foes when fully expanded. They also provide a range option for Link when in this form as he can throw them at foes and have them return like boomerangs.

-Zora Magic(Electricity): In his zora form. Link is capable of magic in order to produce electricity to attack and defend with. When defending he can channel electricity to form a barrier that further aids in protecting himself. Similarly enemies that come into contact with the barrier are shock. When in water. Link can use this magic in order to form his electric barrier to boost his speed and turn into a deadly underwater projectile that damages and potentially kills everything he comes across.

-Zora Guitar: As a zora, Link has access to Mikau's personal guitar. Allowing him to play music and access his various song magics. It appears Link has all of Mikau's guitar skills from when he was alive as he was seen after the events of Majora's Mask playing with the band on stage.

Giant's Mask: A grayish black mask that houses a great and unknown power. When Link wears this mask. It turns him into a giant of vast height. Standing at what I believe to be between 50 to 80 meters in height based on a rough guess on the size of the pillars in the Twinmold stage. It appears that the Giant's Mask also affects Link in making him somewhat more savage however not enough for him to lose sight of what is important and what needs to be done.

-Giant Physiology: Due to this transformation. Link is turn into a giant. His size and weight is increased to vast proportions. All of his physical stats are similarly increase as well.

-Large Size: Due to the effects of the Giant's Mask. Link's height and size are far larger than normal. Allowing him to face off against other kaiju size monsters.

-Superhuman Strength: As a giant, Link is granted immense superhuman strength. Allowing to destroy large stone pillars, damage Twinmold, and lift giant boulders nearly his height before throwing them at Twinmold with enough force to shatter them and daze said monster. He was also able to life and throw said monster a good distance away from himself. He is shown being able to swing his fist fast and hard enough for the friction in the air to light his fist on fire. He can also create shock-waves by punching the ground.

-Superhuman Speed: As a giant, Link's speed increases several fold. It should be noted that his body's movement speed doesn't so much change as due to his larger size. Each step is capable of covering far more ground allowing him to move faster than normal.

-Superhuman Durability(Arms): Link's durability in this form is interesting as it appears to take the same damage as his normal form. However, his arms are shown to be far tougher as he can block attacks with nothing but his exposed arms. He has block the fireballs fired from Twinmold as well as taking it's bladed body to his arms and not having a scratch on them. Showing that his arms were the most affected by this transformations.

Fierce Deity Mask: A mask that contains a being of great power. So powerful was this entity that even Majora fear it. When wearing this mask. Link is grown to the size of an adult Hylian. His strength, defense and all other stats are raise levels far beyond his normal limits. While not much is really known. Information from Majora's Mask manga will be used to give an estimate of what this form is capable of doing. I understand the canon issue with it. However, the manga is pretty accurate when following the games and it does display a bit more of the changes that Link goes through when entering this form as the manga does follow the canon ending of the games.

-Deity Physiology: While it is unknown as to what kind of deity this form is. Link's body takes on the appearance and race of the spirit who inhabits the transformation mask. In this case the Fierce Deity's Mask.

-Fierce Deity's Sword: Upon transforming into the Fierce Deity. Link is able to summon the weapon belonging to the entity within the Fierce Deity's Mask. The blade itself is consider Link's strongest weapon. Being able to channel immense magic power through it. Similarly due to its power. It is capable of bypassing defense. It can fire energy disk that tracks the enemy down and damages it from a distance. It is a large helix shape blade that also provides longer reach when compared to Link's other weapons. It's damage output is stated to be eight times that of the Kokiri sword. Making its damage output four times that of the Master Sword.

-Immense Magic Energy Output: While Link requires magic energy to fuel this mask transformation. The energy output from the attacks of this form is multiply several times over. So much so that Link is capable of fighting and overwhelming Majora without breaking a sweat. It should be noted that Majora was strong enough to drag the moon down to the planet from orbit and was able to stalemate and eventually overpower four other gods known as the Four Giants off of pure power alone. While not canon. Hyrule Warriors has one of Fierce Deity's Link's special attacks in which Majora shows up with the same moon and he slices it in half. Again while not canon. It isn't impossible for this to be the case.

-Sword Beams: Link when in this form is capable of firing sword beams from his sword. The beams themselves are capable of tracking down enemies to ensure hitting their target. The damage from these beams are stated to be like getting hit by the sword itself. They are shown being able to move fast enough to keep pace with Majora despite its rapid movements and dodging. Similarly these beams appear able to bypass enemy defense for unknown reasons.

-Superhuman Strength: In the manga after getting the Fierce Deity's Mask. Link was shown being able to leap from a standing position to the moon. It appears that he smash his way into the moon as well from that jump.

-Superhuman Speed and Reflexes: When in this form. Link is capable of matching and surpassing Majora's speed with little effort despite the latter changing into stronger and faster forms. He was shown being able to dispatch the mask remains that were summoned to aid Majora within several seconds of them being called as if they were flies. In the manga after defeating Majora. He was shown being able to travel from where the moon was located at down in front of the Happy Mask Salesman in a mere moment before slicing the mask in half.

-Superhuman Durability: In the manga, Link is shown to be quite durable. He was shown taking a hit from Majora and not suffering any injuries at all. Instead using the opening that Majora left him to land the killing blow on the demonic mask finally killing it.

-Other Unknown Powers: Again not much is truly known about the powers of the Fierce Deity's Mask. As its power was shown being far above those of Majora. It is possible that the mask grants link other abilities that we may not know about. Considering the amount of abilities that Majora was shown having, such as bringing down the moon, transforming various targets, cursing large areas of land, and sealing away god-like entities. Creation of demonic monsters. The Fierce Deity's Mask may have other abilities aside from what we have seen so far.

Weaknesses

Much like any hero. Link isn't perfect and therefor not without his weaknesses. The Hero of Time has display a number of critical weaknesses that a foe could potentially take advantage of should they figure them out or if the situation happens to work against Link.

Magic Energy Depletion: Due to many of his spells and several items running on magic energy. If he runs out of energy, several pieces of equipment and spells will be rendered useless to him until he can regain the needed amount of energy to use these items again. However until that time happens. Link will be limited to melee combat.

Combat Limitations: Due to the nature of his opponents. Link is often put up against foes far stronger than him. Due to this the need for a weapon is critical to him for the most part. This can however be negated through the use of various gear or masks. Similarly this is mostly due to the fact that Link often faces monsters that are larger than humans as well as kaiju size monsters that show a high level of physical traits that he can't normally match against without a weapon. Similarly due to several items of his running on magic as well as spells. Link may not be able to use these things to face off against foes. Making a fight harder for him depending on what he is fighting.

Cuccos, Invincible Demonic Hellspawns of Fuck Your World Up: Basically they are superpower chickens that will mess you up. Pissed one off and they will call down a demon chicken army that will kick your non-chicken ass. Seriously, don't mess with them. Also don't mention fried chicken just in case, or chicken soup, or grilled chicken or just any chicken dish. Turkey is okay however, seriously fuck those guys

Physical Age: depending on battle conditions. Battles may take place during the time in which Link is a child. This in term will limit the amount of weapons he would have access to as well as reduce his strength and experience to his weakest compared to his normal adult levels.

Limited Ammo: Link is shown having only a limited supply of ammo such as arrows, deku nuts, seeds, etc. once he runs out. Ammo based weaponry will become useless until he is able to restock.

Fire: While not really a weakness in his main form. Link does suffer a crippling weakness to fire based damage when in his Deku Scrub and Zora form. As a Deku Scrub, due to being made of a wood based material. Link can easily catch on fire and potentially die. This weakness isn't as bad in his Zora form. Fire doesn't affect his zora form to the same degree; however, too much fire will cause him to pass out due to the heat.

Short Stature: As a child. Link is relatively short. Being unable to reach high ledges due to his height. This is the same issue Link has when in his Deku Scrub form. As he is even shorter than his human form. This problem however is cancel out upon reaching his adult form or by using a different transformation as he is shown as being the same height or taller as other Hylians .

Heavy Weight: In his Goron form. Link is far heavier than most Hylians. Due to the Goron's race inability to swim. Link will sink when placed in deep water. Depending on the situation. Link may not be able to escape and could potentially drown unless he changes forms.

Large Size: When wearing the Giant's Mask. Link size grows immensely. While this form grants him various buffs. It also makes it harder for him to move around delicate areas. Similarly his large size makes him an easier target to hit with projectiles when in combat.

Feats

Like all fictional fight debates and character analysis. Feats are important. While Link doesn't have as many feats as character like Goku, Hulk, or Superman. The feats Link does have is nothing to sneeze at. All feats comes from the following games. Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, and finally Twilight Princess.

In Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. Link show a number of physical strength feats. One of which was being able to block strikes from Bongo Bongo.

Link was shown being able to face various large almost kaiju size monsters and win.

He could lift good sized rocks weighing 500 pounds to nearly a ton as a child during Majora's Mask without the aid of equipment.

He could block attacks from Odolwa as a child without much effort.

He was shown constantly getting the high score in all shooting galleries.

He could tank explosions to the face due to the bomb mask.

He was shown strong enough to resist curse place on various cursed items as well as the dark influence of the Fierce Deity's Mask.

In Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess. When meeting the hero of that game. The Hero's Shade easily defeated Twilight Princess's Link in a single strike before lecturing him on his lack of skill. It should be noted that Link was trained by Rusl who was one of the best swordsmen in the land.

The Hero's Shade was shown being able to tank blows from the master sword.

Similarly he was also shown being able to transverse various realms despite being dead.

He was able to react to point-blank lightning strikes when he battle Goht and Barinade.

He could react and block the laser fired by the Beamos enemies.

He was shown being able to out paced and beat his shadow self.

Similarly he was able to beat Ganondorf in single combat as well as his empowered form Ganon.

He could transverse Death Mountain while it was erupting. Dodging falling molten boulders.

He was able to sneak around the Gerudo Fortress without being seen. A feat that would later get him recognize as part of the Gerudo people.

Entry End

There we have it. The first entry to the USD Extra: Character Profiles. This was a lot of work. Being nearly fifty-five pages. Luckily for me. Zelda lore tends to be pretty well organized when compared to other franchises. However, it's everything else that needed to be taken into account. Mainly game mechanics.

Trying to translate game mechanics is a pain in the butt. It all really comes down to what can be taken as truth and what is over exaggeration. Like I said, had it not been for the lore and outside sources. Things like his durability and even some of his stronger abilities may not have been on here. God knows how much of a power boost he got from his Hero's Shade feats.

Anyways. I'm pretty much done for right now. Later in the week, I'll be updating this again. Like I mentioned in USD Extra: Q&A. I got a few profiles mostly done. So updating this will be a bit quicker than normal. Afterwards the plan for this being once every two weeks or so, once I'm able to get a stable upload schedule.

Anyways. That's it for now.

If you all like this character profile. Feel free to like, favorite and all of that. And if you have a suggestion for a future profile. Leave them in a review or PM me your suggestion and I'll see what I can do.

And hey if you like what I do and would like to support me. Consider donating to either my ko fi page or my pa TRE on page with the extension
