~Just so you are aware, this fic is based off of an actual occurance between Dan and Phil~

"Dam it," Dan said to himself. "My mouse died again." Dan's mouse was always dying due to the constant use. Dan quickly got up and almost ran to the kitchen. Dan doesn't run but when it comes to his electronics or Phil, he'd run a marathon. He walked over to the junk drawer in search of batteries.

"Where the HELL are they!?" Dan exclaimed. Dan moved his hand deeper into the pile of junk and something inserted itself into the boy's hand.

"OW! WHAT THE HELL!?" Dan extracted his hand and using his other hand uncovered the source of his pain. Under the junk was a cactus. This wasn't unusual in the world of Dan and Phil, finding cacti around the house. But Dan had never found one in a drawer.

"PHILLIP MICHAEL LESTER GET YOUR BUTT IN HERE!" Dan screamed. Phil was in the living room watching Netflix but hearing the angry tone of Dan's normally soothing voice shook him. Phil immediately jumped up and walked to the kitchen. He found Dan clutching his hand in pain.

"Phil. What the hell is one of your house plants doing in the junk drawer?" Dan asked. He appeared calm, but there was an angry undertone to his voice.

"Oops," Phil said, trying to suppress a giggle. "Must have zoned out after watering it last night. Shall I kiss your boo boo better?"

"Phil this isn't the time for joking. I'm going to die one of these days because of your houseplants."

"Hey! It's not THEIR fault. It's mine…" Phil actually looked sad. Not fake sad. Oh no. Dan thought. Existential crisis.

"No! Phil. Forget it. It's not your fault."

"Yes it is, Da-" Phil's sentence was cut off by Dan's lips crashing against his.

"Phil. Believe me now?" Phil couldn't speak so instead he nodded. "This is gonna make a great video!" Dan exclaimed. That shook Phil out of his shock.

"Hey! Are you including that...um...kiss…" Phil blushed deeply.

"You'll see when the video uploads!" Dan said and strolled out of the room, leaving Phil smirking.

"I love you, Dan" Phil accidentally thought out loud. Dan heard that and walked to the kitchen doorway.

"I love you too, Phil."
