RWBY X Call of Duty Volume 6: Absolution
Chapter 1: Nikolai's New Plan
Patch Island
After the events from Mistral's mysterious attack, the rest of our heroes had saved the kingdom from falling down to the ground but the damage was done greatly to Mistral, even our heroes knew that Nikolai was the man with a plan.
With the others gone from Remnant, Nikolai brought the whole team back to Patch Island to form their new plan and everyone started to get in on the idea with him. Jaune thoughtfully in his head trying to concentrate but couldn't think of anything. Ren, Nora, Emily, The Task Force 141, Weasel, Lilith, Oscar, Penny, and Victis tried to come up with something and Taiyang had so many questions for everyone.
Taiyang then broke the silence and questioned," What the hell happened out there, you guys? Where are my daughters?" Weasel groaned in frustration," Shut up! We trying to come up with a plan to save them from Alcatraz!" Taiyang questioned again," What is Alcatraz?"
Nikolai then slammed his hand into fist and hits it with his other hand," I got it you guys!" He opened up the Kronorium and says," Takeo has already used the Time Stone that this Paradox guy gave him and now they are going to save Richtofen and others! Problem is; Warden is gonna use all of the 115 energy from Richtofen and there won't be enough for them to leave."
Jaune asked," Okay, so how are we gonna do this?" Marlton then replied," I got an idea, we use the 115 Experimental Dimension Gun I created and get to Alcatraz, but the flaw is that we need the precise coordinates to the place."
Stuhlinger added," Okay, but what if Nikolai's book can open a portal to take us there and then use the gun to get back here to safety?" Nikolai grunted happily," Haha, yes brilliant, Stu! Perfect plan! Thing is though, we need to wait for Takeo to unfreeze time and then we go in and get them out."
Ozpin then spoke from Oscar's body," You're missing one thing though, The Warden and the Apothicon army will escape Alcatraz and we would still fail, that means he'll go after Dr. Monty's perfect world and claim it as his own. He would turn Monty against us and we would already run out of time."
Nikolai nodded," You're right, then one of us must go in and save them. Marlton, lead the team of yours for search and rescue of Richtofen, Dempsey, Takeo, Team RWBY, and Team CFVY. While you're doing that, I will take Penny, Oscar, Emily, and Raven with me to go and change the future. Everything is coming in full circle everyone, we must break this infernal cycle today!"
Alcatraz Island
*orchestral music*
"Where are we going...? From here...Where do we go...? Are we all blinded...? By fear...? Where do we go...? How do we know...?
Takeo, Blake, Sun, Ilia, Coco, Fox, Velvet, and Yatsuhashi entered the prison once again and Blake asked," Hey Tak? Do you think the others are here?" Takeo nodded," The spirits of my ancestors called to me, they said that my allies had arrived and they are in trouble, my sword is acting up as well. It recognizes the familiar souls that I know of."
Sun then said," I don't know if you're being vague or not but that sounded kinda...dumb?" Takeo insulted him in Japanese," お前は愚かな猿だ!" (You are a foolish monkey!) Sun squeaked," I think something tells me that you're mad at me then."
Yatsuhashi nodded," You may have insulted his culture, you shouldn't have doubts of his beliefs, if he thinks that his friends are here, then we must accept his statements." Fox looked around the cells and Velvet asked," You found them yet, Fox?"
Fox sniffed around and said," I think I smell...*sniffs* chocolate? No, more like a scent of a rose..." Takeo looked up and said," I think I know where they are. Stay close." They climbed up the stairs to the third floor and there they found a barrier blocking the doorway.
Blake stared at it and said," Odd, this wasn't here when we got here, Tak. I think I see Ruby on the other side!" Everyone went over and took a peek and Sun chuckled," Whada ya know you guys? We found them!"
Takeo nods," Yes, but I have to unfreeze time, the Summoning Key can only use one stone at a time, so then I can use the Reality Stone to break the barrier." Ilia says," Alright, waiting on you."
Everyone got ready and Takeo unfroze time and flowed back normally, then he uses the Reality Stone and the barrier breaks. Ruby looked up and exclaimed," Takeo?! Blake?! All of you are alive!"
Yang exclaimed," Blake?!" Dempsey yelled," Ah, for fucksake, shut up! I was trying to sleep in my own sense of defea-" He was interrupted when Takeo approached him and said," Tak...shit man you're...really here. Hey, can you get us out man?"
He nodded," Yes, everyone stay away from bars from the cells, I'm going to make them disappear." The bars glowed red and they transformed into butterflies as they flew away from the cell block and Weiss questioned," Butterflies?"
Takeo shrugged," Eehh, I thought it was appropriate." Dempsey got out of his cell and went on over to hug Takeo," I missed you buddy." Takeo smiled," I missed you as well, the feeling is mutual." Dempsey said," Tak, we fucked up, big time, and the Shadowman has four out of the seven stones."
He backed away from Takeo and he said," Then we must do something about that soon I suppose." Yang approached Blake and said," Blake, you look like-" Blake smiled," What, I look like hammered shit?" Yang shook her head," What? No, that's not what I had in mind, it's just that-were you really stuck here all this time?"
Blake slowly nodded," Yeah, for hours just killing the hordes and it was endless." Qrow went over to them and said," Save the reunion for later, we need to go and save Richtofen right now."
Coco says," Hey Tak, freeze time again, that way we save a lot of time." Takeo nodded and held the Summoning Key in the air and froze time again as the area turned grey again. Dempsey asked," Since when the fuck did you-"
Takeo interrupted him," I will explain another time, right now let's get to Richtofen and free him from the machine." Ruby says," About that, we lost our weapons." Weiss nodded," Ruby's right, without our weapons we can't fight that Warden guy!"
Coco sighed," Ah for fucksake, we don't have time to be looking for their weapons, or well their weapons were smashed right? So, let's give them some guns at least." Ruby exclaimed," Well I am not fighting without my sweet, Crescent Rose." Yang nodded," I agree, I ain't smashing zombies without Ember Celica." Weiss then butts in," As well as Myrtenaster!" Qrow seconded," And my Harbinger!"
Takeo groaned," Alright! Calm down for one minute!" Dempsey said in a smartass way," Time's frozen so no minute is passing, Tak." Sun says," You're such a smartass." Takeo then used the Summoning Key and brought back all the weapons that Ruby, Weiss, Yang, and Qrow lost and they grabbed and loaded them up.
"There, happy now?", Takeo asked. Ruby nodded," Yea! Let's go you guys!" Dempsey groaned," I wanted a badass weapon too." Takeo gave Dempsey a Death Machine minigun with a grenade launcher on it and he chuckled," Oh ho, beautiful, how are ya doin' tonight?"
Takeo sighed," Alright, now let's leave." Everyone walked out of the prison and crossed the catwalk back to the Lab where Richtofen was being kept and they stood in front of the doors that led them to the boss fight arena.
Dempsey said," Okay guys, there's two ways this can play out, we destroy the machine and grab Richtofen and lose the portal back home, or we try to pull him out while the machine is sucking him off and use the portal to get home."
Qrow pointed out the problem," The thing is though, if that portal stays open, it will get the Apothicons access to Dr. Monty's world and they will, I dunno, conquer it I suppose?" Dempsey asked Takeo," Hey Tak? Doesn't Monty have a special power to erase everything to his will?"
Takeo shook," No, from what I learned from the manuscript back at Menagerie, if a user wields a Crescent Stone, they are immune to Dr. Monty's power so they cannot be erased from reality and since you told me that the Shadowman has four of the stones, he will not be erased and I fear he is already at the house as we speak."
Dempsey silently cursed," Fuck, alright guys! Let's go grab our friend back. Tak, break the doors open." Takeo unfroze time and the metal door melts to ashes as our heroes stepped in and saw Richtofen strapped on to the machine.
Richtofen looked over his chest and weakly said," Dempsey? Takeo?" Dempsey yelled," Hang in there, Richtofen! We'll get you out buddy!" The Warden spawns in and shouted," Now, we begin!"
The hordes raised from the ground as Hellhounds started to spawn in as well and Coco shouted," Everyone, lock and load!" Team RWBY, CVFY, Dempsey, Takeo, Qrow, Sun, and Ilia loaded their weapons as the hordes growled in anger and started to charge at our heroes.
Everyone fired their weapons at the incoming hordes as their body parts flew all over the place and the heads flying off of the bodies from Ruby, Weiss, Yang, and Blake's weapons.
The Warden started to perform a ritual and Takeo shouted," Dempsey, shoot the orbs!" Dempsey nodded," Minigun spooling up!" He aims at the orbs and they shatter to pieces as Takeo got in position and fired his Spectral Shield at the Dark Mechanism.
The machine started to spark and the Warden ran over to the machine and slammed a button that released a 115 beam and it shattered the barrier that blocked the gateway. The Warden yelled," GO! BE FREE AND CONQUER THE WORLD OF MONTY!"
"How about we destroy you instead?!", a voice said and a hammer smashed the Warden into the machine and it was Nora Valkyrie. The Dark Mechanism shut down and the portal began to close off from the sky as the Apothicons fled through it until the portal had finally disappeared.
The Warden laughed," It is too late, you have failed and my destiny has now been fulfilled!" Stuhlinger appeared and said," Oh yeah? Well, we will a way to stop them and stop that Shadowman freak!" Russman came from behind and says," Hey, Miss Arlington, I believe he's all yours."
Lilith held the staff of the elements of Fire, Wind, Ice, and Lightning and struck it down on the ground as it released a blast wave across the island, setting the tortured souls free from hell," Rest now, he won't hurt all of you anymore", she whispered.
The Warden was stuck to the machine still and Lilith stared at him and the Warden laughed," I remember you...such a feisty soul you were in my prison." Lilith gave a cry and decapitated the head off of the Warden killing him instantly. Misty looked at her and said," Wow, at least he won't be reborn right after that."
Jaune patted Lilith's back and said," Hey, the fight's over, but not the war." Lilith nods and Ren says," Come on, let's see if the others need help." Dempsey and Takeo finally got Richtofen out of the machine and Richtofen wheezed," I think...I'm going to...pass out..."
Dempsey slapped Richtofen in the face," Hey, hey, hey! Don't go towards the light just yet, doc! Hey!" Marlton rushed in with a device and started to plug in some needles into the punctured holes and shouted," I need you guys to perform a blood transfusion! C'mon! We're wasting time!"
Dempsey said," Guys, blood vials, now!" Takeo, Ruby, Blake, Yang, Weiss, and Dempsey placed their blood vials into the machine and it started to pump blood into Richtofen's body. Marlton got a needle of adrenaline out and puts it into Richtofen's body to keep him alive.
Richtofen groaned and winced," Gah, I hate the needles! I think I have been tortured far enough already!" Weiss went over to Richtofen and held his hand," It's going to be okay, Richtofen. You're gonna be alright, just stay with me!"
Marlton groaned and he said," We're going to need a lot more blood than that! Anyone?!" Dempsey grunted and said," Fine! I'll do it, just go ahead and stab me with the fucking needle and get this over with already!"
Dempsey grabs the tube with the needle on with it and stabs his right arm," GRRAH! DO IT!" Marlton nodded and started to transfer Dempsey's blood to Richtofen and Dempsey's vision was getting blurry and he groaned," Oh fuck, I'm getting dizzy already..."
Marlton turns off the device and the transfer stops between the both, then Marlton grabbed bandages out of his medical kit and patched up Richtofen and Dempsey. Yang helped Dempsey get up and Weiss and Ruby got Richtofen on his feet as well.
Richtofen groaned," You guys, we must get out of here. The dimension is beginning to die off..." Marlton grabs the 115 Dimension Gun out and opens a portal," Okay guys, let's go!"
Team RWBY, CFVY, Dempsey, Takeo, Richtofen, Jaune, Nora, Ren, Lilith, Misty, Marlton, Russman, Stuhlinger, Sun, and Ilia walked over to the portal and had finally escaped the clutches of Alcatraz and now, their objective is to find a way to defeat the Shadowman, Dr. Monty, and a new foe entering the story.
