"Jen!" yelled Rodney. Jennifer turned around and saw a handsome young man, a scientist, the guy she loved, standing behind her. "so, are we still on for dinner tonight?" He asked her. "yep." she said. "cool" he smiled "see you then." "see you" said Jennifer. Then she walked to her apartment. She knew exactly what dress she should wear. She would wear her purple long mermaid dress with a silver V neck choker and some silver bracelets. The dress was also strapless. She pulled on the milky smooth silk dress. It had cost $1,000.00. It was also a present from Rodney. She had a present for him in return. It was a nice $200.00 tie that matched the dress perfectly. It came in a nice leather box with a gold lock and key. She put her hair in a tight bun and put a fake purple rose in it. The she applied purple lipstick and eyeshadow. Then suddenly the doorbell rang and she knew it was Rodney. Quickly, she sprayed some perfume and grabbed the box. She put on her purple heels from Rome, (also another present from Rodney) and finally opened the door and a man with a tux found her. "Hi Rodney." said Jennifer. "Hi Jen." he said back. "oh! I have a present for you!" exclaimed Jen. Rodney smiled. She handed him the box. He grabbed the key, unlocked the box and gasped. Jen giggled. Whenever he got a present form her he acted like a little girl. Then he pulled it out. He switched his black bowtie to his purple tie immediately. "wow." he said, " I don't think my present will be as great." "Ha. Ha. Ha." said Jennifer rolling her eyes then he grabbed something and handed it to her. It was a beautiful bouquet of green roses with purple tips. "oh they're beautiful!" She screamed. "I hope you like them," her replied " I got them from Full Moon." Full moon was a flower shop and it had the most exotic and beautiful flowers. they where $70.00 per bouquet. "So, shall we go?" Rodney asked. She grabbed a vase, put some water in it and put in the bouquet. "Absolutely." said Jen.
Jennifer and Rodney went to a lovely place called Pierre's Leaf. It was a french restaurant and it was their favorite place to go. "May I help you?" asked the woman "Yes,we have a reservation... Mckay? Rodney asked "ah yes.. right this way." said the woman looking down at the list. she led them to 2-seated table out on a balcony. "right here." said the woman. Then she left. Rodney gestured to one of the seats for Jen. "Thank you." she said He smiled. Then he sat down. A man came and poured wine in their glasses. "cheers." said Jennifer. Their glasses clinked. They sipped the wine. Then there was silence. Say something Mckay you idiot! he told himself. "So, um..." he said awkwardly "let me just get just get to the point." " I was um.. wondering if um.. you would like to um..," His voice came to a whisper. "marry me?" "what?" asked Jen. "Marry me?" he said louder. Then she looked deep in thought "no." she finally said "oh." said Rodney looking down. Jen rolled her eyes and kissed him firmly on the lips. "What was that for?" said Rodney looking confused. "Of course I will marry you!" she said. He smiled. "Now.. may I finish that kiss?" Jen asked "Go on." said Rodney. They did.
