When I look at you I see a friend.
This friendship will never end.
This feeling that I'm feeling holds us.
But love is to strong a word.
That's something I've hardly ever herd.
These feelings I've hardly ever felt.
Let alone for you.
I'm sorry but it's true.
The person I love isn't you.
But maybe one day that feeling will change.
But for now it remains the same.
The person I love is kind and true.

My keeper of hope.
His name I've hardly ever spoke.
But even though I've never said it it's true.

Those words I'll never speak.
That's a promise I'll keep.
