Chapter 1.

1:00 AM, Saturday.

Weiss was relaxing in the bath she had drawn in hopes of relieving the stress that had built up inside her that day. She had turned off the lights, lit some candles for calming lighting, as well as the incense that Blake had given her for her birthday some time ago. Weiss slid herself into the water until she sat on the bottom of the bathtub, with the water reaching just below her collar bone. She closed her eyes, inhaled the air which was filled with the chocolate cosmos scented incense. The vanilla and hot chocolate fragrance made her feel like melting. She slid deeper into the water, until it covered her mouth. The warm water felt like it was kissing her lips. The candle light gave the atmosphere a warm yellow-orange color that lit up the area closest to the tub, ignoring everything else that was farther away. This made the walls of the room seem nonexistent. She was in a bathtub in the middle of infinity. What seemed like hours had gone by. She was imagining herself floating in a warm ocean under the stars when she heard the floor creak in the dimly lit side of the room. She turned her head to see who it was, and saw a silhouette equipped with cat ears. She immediately calmed down. If it were anyone else, being seen in this situation would ruin her image of the tough rebel girl that never lets her guard down. But it was Blake, the girl that made Weiss feel at ease whenever she was around.
Blake hadn't moved a muscle since Weiss spotted her. The two of them stared at each other in the silence of the candle lit room. Weiss turned her head and laid back in the tub and said "I really like the incense you gave me." Blake walked over to the bathtub and kneeled behind Weiss. "Is that knot in your neck still there?" Blake asked. Weiss replied "Somewhat, although it is a lot better than earlier." Blake asked if it would be alright if she placed her hands on Weiss' shoulders, Weiss nodded.
