This is my first Cyborg 009 fic! I wanted to write one for a long time but never really knew what to write about.
The Album of Memories
The Cyborgs all sat in the living room, wanting to know what the Professor had called them for. All of them feared it was the return of Black Ghost or more Cyborgs that were created.
Meanwhile Professor Gilmore was searching for something in a cabinet in his lab. He's hands immerged from the cabinet clutching a worn book that was covered in brown leather and had an old golden inscription on the front.
He left the room and a while later entered the living room and carefully set the book on the table and took a seat between Françoise and Albert with Jet and Joe leaning on the back of the couch.
"I have something to show you, I've been making it since we first made the Cyborgs and I thought you would want to see it." Professor Gilmore told them and leaned forward then slowly opened the book revealing a big photo with the whole team standing on the beach in their swimming costumes and GB was covered in water but had a smile on his face nonetheless.
"I remember that day; Pyunma pushed me into the water!" GB exclaimed.
"Yeah and then you retaliated by dumping Ice-cream on his head." Chang added.
"Chocolate, Yum!" GB said with a grin.
The Professor smiled at them and then turned the page. The next page had two photos, the first of the chambers Ivan, Jet, Françoise and Albert, all suspended in ice.
The second photo was of Jet during one of his test runs back when he was just made into a Cyborg. It showed him flying to the left with various robots shooting after him.
"I remember something about that." Jet said, "The camera's flash almost made me crash."
"Sorry." Gilmore said before turning the page. It revealed a photo of GB during one of his performances, there was a tomato squashed on the floor next to him. When GB saw that he pulled a face and gestured for the professor to go on. The other photo was of Joe and the children from the orphanage he grew up in. Joe gave a sad smile when he saw this.
The next photos were of Françoise and her parents and brother, all of them standing before a theater and Françoise was wearing a white ballet costume. The other photo was of Geronimo Jr. with and old woman in a forest.
The Professor turned another page and showed another two photos. The first was of Chang showing off to his customers by breathing fire and the second was of Albert and Hilda standing in front of a small house.
The next page contained a photo of Jet with Cathy and Jimmy outside a coffee shop in the Bronx, the next was of Françoise and Ivan standing by the Eiffel Tower.
The next page had a photo of everyone helping in Chang's restaurant on a Saturday afternoon while the other photo was of Pyunma sitting on the Dolphin looking at the sunset.
The second last photo was of Jet and Joe. Both were bruised and battered and were wet, though their clothes were burned around the edges, both were smiling and standing on a beach looking as though they were going to collapse at any moment. Jet's lower left leg was gone and the part that remained was shooting sparks and leaking pink fluid.
The last photo was of everyone in front of the house, each of them in full costume and they all had big smiles on their faces, all of them staring at the night sky.
How was it? I know it's short and not my style, but I like it.
