Trumpkin glared at Peter and scoffed. "High King! You coudln't rule a brier patch! Much less a kingdom." Peter leaned back in his chair. "And you know so much about ruling since when?" Trupkin cursed under his breathe. "You don't know the first thing about caring for your troops. To you it's just, 'Off to battle you lowly scum!' Peter smirked, "Oh, and you do?" "I know a hell of a lot better than you do my very young king..." Peter crossed his arms over his chest. Glaring at the dwarf he tried to think of something to say. Trumpkin smiled victoresly, "Can't think of a biting retort High King Peter?" he said, sarcasm filling his words.
Peter sighed and stood up. "This isn't over! We will finish this later and believe me when I say you will not survive." Trumkin snorted. "Oh, spare me!" Jumping off his chair he started to walk away but turned and said, "I may be short but I can beat you any day!" And with that he left the room, only to be replaced by Susan. "What was all the argueing about Peter?" She asked, upon entering the room.
"He thinks I am not fit to rule my own kingdom. He thinks I am too young! He doesn't know anything. He has never had his own kingdom before1 I have played this game before! I know how to win! He thinks he can defeat me by using mind tricks, well he can't! " Susan looked around the room until she spotted what she was looking for. A game of luck, laying on the table.
"Peter, calm down! It's just a game! " But Peter continued his rage. "Yes, a game! And I have played it before! I know how to beat him and I will! He will walk away, his pride bruised and his shame great!" Susan smiled as she watched her older, slightly insane brother pace back in forth, talking to himself as he did. "Yes, I will destroy and conquer. Not one of his troops will get past mine! Not one will live past the night!" Susan made her way across the room, realizing it might be best to leave Peter to himself. He sounded as if he needed to think up a stragity for beating Trumpkin.
Susan opened the door quietly and slipped out, only to find Trupkin pacing the hall behind her.
