The embodiment of a lie
When you're Tsuruga Ren, telling lies becomes a part of your life.
At first, it had only been a matter of acting, a disguise, a different persona to fool...well, only the entire population of Japan. So far, so good. It went on smoothly. You're doing a decent job pretending to be someone else, and the lie is adored if not worshipped.
But then, along with being Tsuruga Ren, fate had you meet Mogami Kyoko. It then had you realize she is the young girl you had met when you were a kid and it had reminded you of the lie you once told her of you being a certain magical creature. Of course, you would have to keep that lie going until you convince yourself that she is ready to face the truth.
Not only that, but you would also find yourself falling in love with the said girl. And since the girl in question has sworn out of love, you would, naturally, have to lie about your feelings, pretending they were professional at times and platonic at others; only to avoid scaring her away.
Before long, you would realize that, being Tsuruga Ren is practically synonymous with being a lie, if not living one. You only keep going for the sole purpose that one day you can uncover that lie for what it really is, and you can start being your true self. Hizuri Kuon. The one bitter truth that have been, that is, and that will always be, buried deep beneath the lie.
