"Hey Matt" I smiled, walking towards him. He looked tired and his bandaged hand sat resting on the table, whilst his other frantically typed on his laptop.

He looked up and grinned "Hey Bonnie"

"So I'm guessing the ball wasn't as great as the invitations look huh?"

Matt sighed.

He hadn't come to school, which was where Bonnie had found out about one of the originals breaking his hand, from Caroline. Knowing Matt well enough, Bonnie skipped the rest of the day and went straight to The Grill, where she found him. She knew Matt hated going home, after something bad had happened cause the constant reminder of Vicky and always having to walk past her room, almost sacred him. Bonnie knew this, cause she felt the same when she had to walk past her Grams room .

"I guess I just thought saying no straight to Rebekah's face would have cost me a lot more"

Bonnie nodded. She knew not to piss off an original. Ever.

She sat down and lay her head on her hands.

"You okay" Matt asked.

"Yeah I'm fine, just tired that's all. All this supernatural stuff drains me "

Matt chuckled. "Well I'm getting nowhere with this assignment" he said, shutting his laptop, "Wanna Join me for a drink?"

"Yeah why not?" I smiled "Gotta loosen up sometime"

After a few drinks, Matt and I had completely forgotten our conversation, instead laughing at all the ridiculous stiff we had down in our freshman year.

" I really did suck at CPR didn't i?"

I nodded " You were terrible, but not as bad as me. Remember when we had to practice with the Annie dolls, I got so pissed that the chest wasn't rising I threw it in the water?"

We both bursted out laughing.

"Well well well" said a voice behind us. "Out drinking on a weekday, little rebelish don't you think?"

I turned around to find Klaus and another man, who I could only presume was his brother smiling evilly at the pair of us.

"Hello Bonnie" Klaus smiled "Haven't seen you in a while. What's the matter? Lost the urge to kill for a third time?"

"Killing you Klaus would be my absolute pleasure" I snapped

He chuckled

"Allow me to introduce you to my brother. Kol this is Bonnie, Bonnie this is Kol"

"so this is the Bennet witch?" he asked staring right at me

I gave him the biggest dirty I could muster.

He smile grew wider before his eyes darted behind me.

"Hello Matt, how's your hand" he asked

"Fine thanks" Matt said coldly before looking away.

I glared harder at the one called Kol, so this was the one that broke Matt's hand.

"Well now that the formalities are all over, how about we buy you both a drink" Klaus asked with a small smile.

"I'd rather die of thirst" I snapped

Kol chuckled, whilst Klaus smile grew wider.

"Come now love, why not put the past behind and have a fresh start?"

I snorted before grabbing my bag. Matt got up with me and just before we turned to leave I turned around at gave Klaus the Biggest aneurism I could muster.

His face squinted in pain, but only for a second.

"Just a small taste of how much I hate you" I smiled, before walking off.
