Why did you hurt me like that? This is…this must be some sort of horrible nightmare. No…no, I know what this is. This is some kind of genjutsu, and I can't get out of it!

Of course not! But I have to get out of this horrible illusion! Quickly!

I have to get out, but it feels so real. It really felt like he stabbed me just to get to the Hokage…it really looks like he's just leaving me here to die. They're so unnerving, these illusions.

I can feel blood in my mouth, even as I spit it out over and over. Can't taste anything but that. Lying on the ground…I can't move at all. Has to be part of the genjutsu. All of this is; it's all some stupid elaborate trap just meant to screw with us.

Sasuke wouldn't look at me as if I were nothing, not like that. He wouldn't give in to the darkness eating away at his heart. I can't be just a tool for him to use…he cares about me. He cares about others. He's not consumed by this stupid obsession of destroying the Leaf.

He's not leaving me here to die.

This illusion is so hard to break…why? I'm supposed to be good at these sorts of things!
