"Okay Kitsune…I promise…Like a hawk…Okay…bye." Sae hung up her cell phone and turned to Kurama, who had happened to run into a fellow demon and bird combo.
Nothing was too out of the ordinary. And Sae was after Hiei, because she knew that Kitsune would kill her if she went after her brother. Her simple rules were "we don't touch the Nii-sama". And Sae knew enough to live by that rule.

"Ok…I'm supposed to make sure you don't get into trouble." Sae said as the two began to walk down the street.
"That's Kitsune for ya. Oh well."
"Hey! Move over a bit Kurama! There's a thing called personal space!" Kiir shouted. He was a crow that doubled as Sae's weapon, and he had a thing about people bugging Sae, even though he hada thing for pretty girls.

The two rolled their eyes and began talking and laughing and walking. They had not gotten together and talked for a very long time. But the human realm gave them time to do just that.

Kurama got them on the subject of their true demon forms, and Sae had only seen Yoko Kurama once in her life, and that was at the dark tournament.
"Sae, I've never seen your demon form."
"You don't want to."

"My demon form is hell. Essentially, Kitsune knows it better as 'Genocide'. God…I hate my demon form. I hate it." Sae let the subject drift down and die.
And the two continued in silence.

The two parted ways and Sae pondered to herself as she was walking. She thought of her demon form. More or less…it wasn't that she hated it…she feared it. But as Sae rounded the corner to her apartment, a wave of energy hit her body and she passed out.

Sae didn't show up at Kurama's funeral. Kitsune and Hiei and Jetta and Yusuke and Botan and Kuwabaka all showed, but Sae was gone. Kitsune knew, yes…she knew. But she wouldn't tell.
