Sofia?
So I had an idea for a short about the three parents sitting around talking about baby names. Just thought it might be cute seeing as they hit on so many decisions in the show before Sofia came around but this one never came up. I figure it's just before the accident when
Disclaimer is that I don't own the characters of Grey's Anatomy Shonda Rhimes is a genius though and she created them and the can be seen on ABC.
"Emily?" Callie questions as she props her swollen feet up on the break room couch.
"No, I slept with an Emily once and she wasn't the sanest." Came Marks opinion.
"Mark, if we picked a name out of the women you haven't slept with we'd be left…well you'd just better hope it's a boy." Arizona quipped then looked to Callie to answer the original question, "Oh, Emily is nice but it reminds me of Clifford."
"Yeah, if it's a boy we could have Mark Jr." He perked with a huge grin.
"Not a chance!" Arizona took the seat by Callie's feet.
"The Dog?" Callie asked Arizona and Arizona nodded in response.
Mark sat in the chair next to the two.
"How about Maria?" Callie tossed another option up.
"Too religious. And what wrong with a Mark Jr. Blondie!"
"My problem with the name Mark is very similar to your problem with Emily, with the exception it wasn't me to sleep with a Mark."
Callie was just ignoring the other two as she kept flipping through the baby book, and finally noticing Arizona sitting at her feet she decided it was the perfect opportunity for a foot rub. Kicking off her shoes she placed her feet in her girlfriends lap knowing she'd get the hint.
"Ok, so no Mark Jr., but I hardly see how it's the same."
"It's not the same just similar. You said no to Emily because she was nuts and I'm saying no to Mark because you're a man whore." As she started to subconsciously rub Callie's feet.
"How about Samuel?"
Marks pager sounded and he looked to Callie "Sorry 911, really Samuel?" he ask the last part as if he didn't think she was serious.
Callie and Arizona just sat there quietly for a few moments after Mark had left. Arizona kept massaging Callie's feet, and Callie was deep in thought.
"We don't have to have a name yet, but it would be kind of nice you know to have some ideas."
"Sofia." Arizona smiled out the name. She had seen it on a list Callie had been working on.
"Sofia?"
"If it's a girl."
"Yeah, if it's a girl, but we should still ask Mark just in case."
"Yeah, but Sofia is a pretty awesome name, but we really can't have a Mark Jr.."
"Hmm, no Mark Jr.." Callie agreed.
