Rumpleteazer kicked a stray can. Alonzo and blown her off again. This was the second time this week. She sighed but stopped when she heard giggling. It was coming from behind the tire. Slowly she crept up to the tire and peeked over the edge. Alonzo was there. Making out with a blushing Jemima. She squeaked in utter shock and dashed away. Tears were streaming down her cheeks, and blurred her vision so much that she crashed into another cat. There was a yelp of surprise and a thud.. Rumpleteazer rubbed her head. She looked up. Mistoffelees sat a few feet away, but something wasn't right. The normally black and white tuxedo Tom was…purple? Yes, he was purple! Rumpleteazer looked down at her self. She was pink. This wasn't good. Rumpleteazer did not do pink.
"Misto," she said, trying to remain calm. "Woi am Oi pink?"
"Ermmm," was the only word the tuxedo uttered.
Rumpleteazer angrily shook her head.
"Whot eva'," she growled, wiping tears from her eyes.
She stood and began to stalk away. She felt the small Tom grab her paw.
"Wait Teazer. What's wrong?"
The tabby Queen broke down.
" 'Lonzo…Jemi…kissin'," she sobbed into her paws.
She looked up just in time to see Mistoffelees stalking away.
"M-Misto," she sniffed. "Where ya goin'?"
"To murder Alonzo," was his reply.
"No!" Rumpleteazer yelled.
She pounced on the purple Tom, knocking them both to the ground. She wrapped her arms around his chest, restraining him. She buried her face in his chest.
" 'Lonz is da secon' in c'mmand. Yo a magician tha' jus' turned us pu'ple an' pink. 'E'd kill ya!"
There was silence for a few moments.
"Your headfur smells nice," Misto whispered.
If Teazer hadn't been pink, she would have turned bright red. She sat up and drew her knees to her chest.
"Ya know 'e 'adn't even kissed me ye'? An' no' once di' 'e tell me Oi looked pri'y."
Misto sat up too and shyly put his arm around her waist.
"I-I think you're pretty Teazer."
Rumpleteazer turned to look at him. His cheeks had turned dark violet. He was blushing. She quickly turned away, fearing she had turned magenta.
"Teazer, close your eyes."
Silently, she obeyed. There was a loud 'ping'.
"You can open them now."
Cautiously, the tabby opened her eyes.
"Now look up."
Teazer looked up at the dark sky. Next to the moon, in sparkling letters, the words 'Rumpleteazer is beautiful' were written. Now Rumpleteazer was sure she had turned bright pink. She turned to face the tuxedo Tom and was shocked to find his lips pressed to hers. She melted into his arms, in utter awe. Her first kiss! Mistoffelees broke away, now back to his usual black and white color, with the exception of his blushing cheeks and…a purple tail. Rumpleteazer wasn't pink anymore with the exception of a dark blush and her electric pink tail. She smiled shyly, leaned forward and kissed the small Tom. She smiled against his lips when their purple and pink tails twined together.
