Johnny poured himself some scotch as he prepared to tackle some files that Claudia left for him.
"John," Claudia said shocked. Speak of the Devil.
"Yeah," Johnny said.
"I thought you were supposed to be in town," she hinted for him to leave.
"I am, but I thought the files were a more pressing matter" Johnny said.
"Well, they can wait!" Claudia said with annoyance.
"Guess, I better go into town," Johnny said.
"Yep," she said as she sat in his chair.
"I will be back" Johnny said as he left.
Johnny walked into the Spencer mansion looking for Luke. After awhile, he came to the conclusion he wasn't home. Johnny decided to wait at the bar. He walked through the wide doors to see a familiar face. He sighed. It was Lulu. She was sitting shooting down some kind or hard liquor. Perfect.
"Where's Luke?" Johnny asked.
"I don't know," she answered shortly. There was no need to turn around, she knew who it was.
"That was helpful," Johnny answered bitterly.
"What do you want from me? I mean obviously besides me!" Lulu yelled.
"We have been through this, Lulu," he said as he turned around to leave. Lulu jumped off the stool and walked up to him.
"Is that all you can say?" Lulu asked. Johnny stopped and fell silent. "You have been pushing me away, when I know you love me. I don't know who the hell you are trying to fool but you sure as hell aren't fooling me," Lulu spat.
"What do you mean? You are just babbling. Do you honestly think I don't love you?" Johnny asked getting in her face.
"Yes, that's exactly what I mean!" Lulu said.'
"How could you say that?" Johnny asked offended.
"How could you push me away until I can't go any farther?" Lulu asked softly. Johnny sighed. This conversation was not going anywhere. "Johnny, pay-a-fucking-ttention" Lulu said as she gently sobbed.
"Did I ever tell you where I was when Logan was in a coma and you left me a thousand messages?" Johnny asked. Lulu shook her head 'no.'
"When Michael went missing, Sonny immediately blamed my family. He held me basically for random until he got his son. I was locked in this tiny, padded room, and all I had was this black marker. I just tried to relax and calm down. All I could think about was you. You helped me through the craziness. I wrote a song, Lulu's song, and that helped calm me down. Damn it, Lulu you are always on my mind. I love you and don't ever forget that," Johnny said as he left. Lulu after a moment of soaking it all in ran after him.
"Play it," Lulu said softly. Johnny stopped and turned around.
"What?" he asked.
"Play me, my song," Lulu said as she fidgeted with her hands.
"I think I can do that" Johnny said as he walked into the main room. He sat down at the piano and began to play. Lulu sat down next to him. It was beautiful. She smiled. Johnny finished and stared intently into her eyes.
"Why did you push me away?" Lulu asked.
"I didn't want you to end up like Michael. I didn't want anyone to hurt me by hurting you. I can't lose you" Johnny said as he looked away.
Lulu gently turned his head around to face her. "I love you, too," she said as she kissed him. Johnny didn't hesitate. They were in love and they had finally gotten the moment their hearts desired for.
