When I walked in I was immediately given the place where we were going. Virginia. Well this would be fun. We had been there a couple of times and we were really well known there, but not in a good way. The drive was long, but we didn't want to risk being seen at any hotels which meant we ended up staying in the impala for the night. When I woke up I was sore which pissed me off.
It wasn't like I could do anything about it though. "Okay Sam, what should we be looking for?" I ask when I look over and see him flipping through dad's journal. "Some kind of super human. It says here that dad had a few encounters with them. They are mostly harmless unless they fall in love.
Once that happens dad wrote they go bat shit crazy." That was the next place we went. We checked into a hotel before going to look for a good place to eat. That turned out to be a mistake because we were brought in by the police before we could escape. They separated us. After an hour a tall muscular guy came in. Said his name was Matthew. I ignored him and refused to talk. I felt odd around him.
I usually would tease before I escaped, but this time I didn't have a plan. He got mad and said something about bringing a different guy in. The next guy to walk in was nice. He was tall with long hair. He seemed scared of me, but he continued to talk. He explained that he was a behavioral analyst.
Something about him intrigued me. I watched as Dr. Reid sat and placed files in front of me. "Are those the files on me?" A hint of a smile flashed across Reid's face "A few of them yes. I would like to ask you a few questions if you wouldn't mind." I flicked my hands out in a go for it gesture. Dr. Reid nodded and swallowed as he formed his question. "What exactly are you doing here?"
I sat back a bit. I had expected that question to be first. I shrugged "I'm looking for someone" It was an honest answer. Reid looked at me and continued "You are wanted here by many people. Why risk it?" I shrugged again "It's for my dad." We continued back and forth with the same kind of questions the last one being "Do you know who you are looking for?" I shook my head. He accepted this and got up to leave.
I was left there to figure out how to get out. I knew there were people on the outside and I could never get out that way. Then I heard soft thuds of something hitting the ground before my door opened. "Happy to see me?" Sam said as he came over and unlocked me. "How did you get out?" I ask as we make our way out of the room. "I'll explain later." I nodded and I followed him down the hallway and out to where stairs were.
"Do you even know where to go?" I ask as quietly as I could. "Yeah actually I do." Sam said. He opened a door and we were outside. I guess he did. We took off in a run and found our car in a matter of minutes. I climbed in and cranked my baby up as we took off. I doubted they would notice we were gone for another few minutes. We would be cleared out by then. "So how did you get out?" I ask finally.
Sam shrugs "I didn't there was this guy said his name was Dr. Reid. He slipped me a key as well as this piece of paper" he said flashing a sticky note "It says where to go and how to get to our car." "Wait up… Dr. Reid? He talked to me too. He must be on of Bobby's friends" I state. I was confused as to why he would let us go. "Yeah must be." Sam replied.
