I'm doing this one shot before updating my other stories. I want to switch fandoms a little bit, plus I've already got this one typed up and I really want to post it soon. ENJOY! Tissues are advised. Slightly AU, by the way. Takes place after DOTM, but I haven't seen that one yet. I just know that IronHide dies and that sucks. IronHide is da best. I luv him! Mikaela and Sam don't break up either.
Disclaimer: I do not own Transformers or any of the characters.

Annabelle smiled, eyes full of tears. She was only 37 and dying of cancer. She looked into the teary eyes of Sam, Mikaela, her husband, and her two children, Will and Sara. They were her only living relatives. Her father died when she was 10, fighting. Her mother had died a couple years ago in a car accident. She remembered the original Autobots. Dozens of new ones had come to earth, but the last one that Annabelle knew, Ratchet, was killed about a year ago in battle. All the other Autobots had also been killed in battles against various opponents. Her only consolation, as she laid in the bed, was that she would see her family soon. She closed her eyes. She could see a faint light. She thought of all the friends and family she had lost. She then heard a voice she hadn't heard in 31 years. Tears streamed down her face as she opened her eyes.

"I hear him."

"Who do you hear Annie?" Asked Mikaela.

"I hear... I hear Uncle 'Hide." Sam and Mikaela smiled sadly while her husband looked confused, but confusion was quickly replaced with concern as Annabelle closed her eyes once more. The light was getting brighter. She saw the glimmer of sun on the paint of a black GMC Topkick.

"I see them." As she watched, the panels of the truck started to shift and took the shape of the guardian that had protected her for 6 years, until his untimely death. The alien smiled sadly, as if sensing her pain. Her mother and father were by his large foot. The deceased Autobots were behind the weapons specialist. She looked at all her friends and family that she had been forced to leave. She opened her eyes for the final time. She could feel that she wouldn't last another hour. She took in the faces that would be left behind. She looked at Will, her 9 year old son.

"Take care of Daddy and Sara for me. I'm so proud of you. You've grown so much." Her tearful boy nodded and grabbed her hand in a death grip, as if that grip would keep her in this world. She then looked to 7 year old Sara.

"Be good for Daddy and get along with Will. I love you all so much." Her little daughter that would have to be raised without a mother, hugged her like she was the girl's lifeline. He remembered doing the same, minutes before her father succumbed to his injures when she was 10. She then looked to her husband of 12 years. She grabbed his hand with her free hand. When Sara released her, he leaned down and kissed her on the lips. She was getting weaker. She could hear IronHide's voice much more clear now. She also heard another voice that Sam would die to hear.

"Annie..." The voice seemed to say. She understood what the yellow mech was trying to say. She looked to Sam and Mikaela, following Bumblebee's request.

"Bumblebee says hello." A tear rolled down Sam's face. He was reliving the day Bumblebee gave up his life to save Sam's. He had jumped in front of a sabot round the size of Sam, killing the Bot instantly. The couple smiled sadly as Annabelle closed her eyes for the final time.

"I love you..." She whispered. She saw her parents beckoning to her, and IronHide smiling. She saw his shiny plates of armor glint in the sun. She saw Optimus towering over her family like a metal angel. She took a step towards them, smiling. She then ran as fast as she could towards them, grinning and laughing. She felt energetic and full of life. Opposite of what she felt with her cancer. She started to cry as she hugged her parents. She clutched them like a lifeline. When they finally released each other, she turned to her guardian. Memories that had faded came back with starling clarity. She could see every moment they had spent together. She remembered him helping teaching her how to walk, and steadying her with his giant fingers. She remembered him saving her when the barn had collapsed during a storm with her in it. She remembered sitting in his hands, looking at the stars late at night. She remembered him telling her about great battles on Cybertron. She smiled at him and he knelt down, a rare smile adorning his face plates. "You've grown." He said. She climbed into his hand. He brought her closer. She hopped onto his shoulder like she used to do when she got old enough. She hugged him the best she could with their size differences.

"I've missed you IronHide."

"Not as much as I've missed you, Annabelle." They were happy. They had been reunited after 31 years of separation. Annabelle smiled again. She was home again, with all the people she loved. She laughed as they started to move, her riding atop IronHide.

Her Metal Angel

I was crying while I wrote this. Let the whole world know.
